We are 6-2 with wins over clemson and a&m.

it has not been pretty but come on. don't forget last year we lost by:

14 to MTSU (one of the worst losses in program history)
24 to Duke
30 to Clemson
42 to FSU
26 to Pitt

We are playing younger players.

We are 1 good QB away from 8-0.

People *****ing about close wins. I will take any win. So will any team. Look at USC and OU. You think those teams are significantly better than us with way higher expectations this year?

Fair points.
I still think we collapse down the stretch and end up 6-6, but I am seeing what I had been saying all offseason as el mope supremo - I wanna see fight in that 6-6 run.

Besides UNC, we haven't been blown out that embarrassingly badly yet this year.

Cue FSU and UL, but we'll see.
 
It’s possible but with our current QB situation and this offense, not happening. Plus it would’ve been nice to have Mesidor back to pair with Bain. We still have NC State who just dominated a team we struggled with(Clemson). Then FSU who we can talk **** about all we want, they look **** good right now. They’re blowing out teams they should(Wake, Syracuse, VT, and ended up beating Duke by 18). We’re struggling with bad teams and they’re dominating. Are they beatable? Sure but you’re relying on Mario and Dawson to have the guys ready and to put a gameplan together to win. Plus we’re hoping TVD isn’t garbage. Not a recipe for success with those 3. And then we have Louisville who is **** good team right now. They just dominated Duke. Then we finish with BC. Going 4-0 with that stretch would be awfully impressive.

Fair but perhaps accidently specious point.This could have been said multiple times about Al Golden. Not going to placate me with this ****.

We aren't beating FSU with our blind QB running the show..

No doubt we have 3 tough games ahead + BC who is no push over but taking a closer look at the box score of the Clemson vs NCST game , NCST did not dominate. Clemson outgained them 374 to 202 and NCST had 2 plays (72 yard pass and 50 yard run) that accounted for half their O.

The Vegas line for this one will be interesting

NCST won 24-17 over Clemson after we literally beat them up in OT last week. Those physical games carry over.

L’Ville beat Duke without their QB which means nothing.

FSU is the top team and then every other team is basically the same.
 
A W is a W. Ugly or not. We don’t win the last 2 last year. The guys have shown incredible resiliency this year and haven’t/don’t give up like we saw last year.

Can’t get the 2 losses back. Move on to the next one and hope the guys continue to play hard to the last snap.

Given our remaining schedule 6-6 wouldn't be much of a collapse since they are all quality teams, I think 7-8 wins and a decent bowl will be a good season for us
