We really need to find out what’s up with Jarren Williams

Jarren doesn't trust what he sees unless it's 100% open. That much is clear, receivers were running free (primarily on corner routes) and he was just refusing to let it fly

lol the pathetic thing that we need to magnify in this conversation is we are talking about FIU... I’m not crowning NKosi like a Heisman candidate but I know for a fact that he would’ve took those shots and blown FIU out easily both with his arm and with his feet.

there is no coming back from losing to FIU and our starting QB has a QBR rating of 9.3, which was inflated because of the 2 TDs he threw after the game was already over.... đź—‘đź—‘đź—‘đź—‘đź—‘đź—‘đź—‘đź—‘đź—‘

He cant read defenses just like Kosi. its all guess work. also as soon as you hit him in the mouth Jarren turns to happy feet. hopefully TVD is a true QB. you can have a guy at QB with no football IQ. He probably doesnt even have the know how to check out of a play. ill concede its a new offense but come on.

that is what frustrating with this team, as soon as you think you settle down a position it blows up the next game. FIU looked at the film and said we are taking away the slants and deep middle, they even gave us the run. What does Jarren proceed to do force the ball into the middle of the field. The flats were opened all night, on his interception down the deep middle that was called backed JT had gone in motion, and wheel route past the LB and was wide open down the sideline . Amazing that if we had the FG kicker for FIU we probably be undefeated, that kid is a weapon, how the **** did we missed on that kid ?
He was too far away at Booker T to scout.

Funniest **** ever would be for him to start missing practices again, actually enter the Portal.....and Kentucky be like "No thanks".

He can go eff himself at this point for all I care. You don't get to be part of 2 years of immature drama and expect unconditional love from us when you suck this bad.

Who woulda thought that Kosi would be the most issue-free kid (of those 3) in the QB room this year?

And believe it or not. I actually believe it was Enos who pulled JW during the Va Tech game. AND NOT DIAZ! Because Diaz still wanted to " hang " with his guy at QB.

Jarren's body language during pressers and some of his antics I've seen on the field - especially after a big play - has concerned me for some time. Is that **** performance Sat totally on him? Of course not. But there have been signs that he may have some maturity issues dating back to last year.

where were the maturity issues showing in the other games? People just looking for any moment to gang up on this kid and it’s ridiculous at this point. He’s shown to have immaturity issues in his career at times and He played terrible vs fiu no question about it but people just letting their reserved opinions fly but where no where to be found when he help will his team to victory when he got in vs Pitt in a clutch spot and then his performances vs FSU and Louisville.

Just trying to figure out why the inconsistencies brock.. I know he's a RSFR but to do what he did against Louisville and then what he did against fiu is mindboggling. Obviously, most of the team didn't show up Sat but I watched the game on TV and the shots of his face showed he just didn't seem engaged.

Soft mindset when the going gets tough? Did he show that vs uf when they were down and came back , unc game when they were down and came back? Pitt game down in the final drive while down and came back? Even a 4th quarter rally vs fiu(yikes even typing that) but come on now. The kid needs to mature for sure But that comes at different moments for every kid. It’s easy to cast stones to a kid in THIS DAY AND AGE OF FOOTBALL WITH THE TRANSFER PORTAL playing the most important position on the field, a qb at that about contemplating a transfer at one point. That is common place for qbs nowadays and a lot of successful qbs were transfers, it happens but no need to keep bringing that up as signs of immaturity.

with regards to fiu he did look shook as it was a snowball effect like vs va tech after one int happened. that absolutely has to stop moving foward.

Yes, what isn't soft about lack of preparing his first year basically giving up, gaining weight and not watching film, threatening to transfer multiple times, basically not showing up for practice Pitt week, looking like someone killed your dog against FIU instead of leading and commanding. I like the kid and he definitely has potential but to act like he isn't part of the problem is soft by you Brock. Enos play calling is not helping him but that doesn't give Jarren a pass.

Look at the FIU tape. JW starred down receivers, threw into double and triple coverage, held the football too long, missed open receivers all night, didn't go through progressions, and predetermined throws. A total lack of awareness.
