Didn't win the natty, but winning the Cotton Bowl and Fiesta Bowl in one year after 20+ years of mediocrity is just as good as the natty IMO

It hits me like that all the time lol. I keep feeling surprised that we just played in the natty, almost doesn’t see real.
I was happy to make the playoffs, honestly. I was glad to finally check that box. Beating A&M felt like a bonus. I was prouder than I’ve been in a long time to be a Cane. The recent strides felt validated.
But that run was surreal. Did not see that coming. Completely amazing. I regret not going to any games.
And all of that comes with the heavy feeling of being 40 yards away from number six and falling short. They are so hard to come by, hope we can get back soon.
