We only have 1 title in the last 26 years

We only have one title since 92.

That’s one title in 26 years, and it could signal two things: 1. We were a flash in the pan program and 2. The program is truly dead and cannot/won’t ever return.

Context, context my guy.

Last championship was 92. Played for another championship in 93 (lost to Bama). 94 was a weird season, losing inexplicably to Washington, and then blowing that lead against Nebraska.

THEN Sanctions hit. Fell down, and Butch brought us back up w/in 5 yrs, finally culminating to a title in 01. We got screwed in 02 (although we beat ourselves in that game too, to be honest ((4th & 13!!!)) ).

Down hill since then as we’ve hired player’s coaches/inexperienced since 2000.

That’s y we have 1 championship in 26 yrs. If we dedicated ourselves to football, and football operations, we could easily take back the NCAA just b/c our built in natural resources. But this only happens once we hire the right coach who instills discipline and accountability again.

No man, just go back to troll shalala, the double agent sent in here to set this program back and now her groomed poodle no balls flake james is running the show. This **** tried to run up on coach richt, who's resume speaks for itself, about staff changes and coach richt basically told him to GTFOH bytch! I actually hope coach richt does get the Fsu job, that would bring the rivalry all the way up. One thing about coach richt, that man is loyal, he'd be welcomed up at Fsu with open arms. Itll be comical just to see coach richt against coach diaz, lol. Coach richt is a real one, doesnt give a ***** about alot of ****, he was good for this program, told jt4, ok bye felicia, and those crying about, jt4 is back and we still 6 & 5, football is the ultimste team game, cant have to many crybabies on the field at the same time.

its 1. small schools like miami will never truly compete wiht the bg time state programs with boatloads of alumni support and funds. once the game changed to big money, it ended our chances of being the old miami.

dont forget that in the time of our down period after the 01 team, cfb has become much more big money than it had ever been in terms of salaries, etc. we tried to pay what we did and didnt adjust. until we change that, we wont be competing with the LSUs, Bamas, Clemsons, etc. in terms of being elite year after year with recruiting, coaching staffs (assistants, etc.).

UGA hasn't won one since 1980.

FSU has won 2 in the past 25 years.

Michigan has 1 championship since 1948.

Anyone saying those programs are dead? Hire a good coach, which is entirely feasible with the money allotted. Have him hire good assistants, which is MORE than feasible considering Enos is making a million dollars a year. Continue to recruit local talent. Pretty simple. Saying the program is dead or can never be good again is ludicrous.

Difference is those programs appear to care about winning on the highest stages. Miami doesn't.

It's feasible but a steep uphill battle considering how far behind we've gotten in resources. But I agree, the "right" guy can resurrect the U.

Does anyone remember when people said Alabama was dead? They were living in the past. No real fertile recruiting grounds had to recruit nationally? They hired Saban.

Well if it isn't Sir Isaac Svengali Newton. Thanks for expressing your detailed mathematical skills for all of the CIS scholars to drool over. I hope you get the response or answers you desperately seek.

I'm sorry about your luck but I've been a part of 5 college football National Championship seasons and every single one of them were glorious. The ones we were robbed of were glorious seasons as well. Not as glorious but prettty dam close.

The only thing that your post exposes about you are actually 2 things.

1 .You were nothing more than a flash in the pan Canes Fan
And
2. You should just call it a day and quit trying to act like a Cane fan and find another flash in the pan program and never return. Good luck on your journey bro. You're gonna need it.

Go Canes!!!!!!!!
