This is 2022. How many Top 25 Teams do not have WR and ST Coaches?

Gattis does neither have enough time to coach our WR's nor does he know the position like he should. One of the best Ohio State coaches is not only their WR's coach but he is also their best recruiter. Brian Hartline.

Waddle, one of the best WR's for the Dolphins has given a lot of his development credit to his coach, Wes Welker!!

Several years ago, when we had several WR's dropping ball regularly, Mark Duper started working with some of these, like Leonard Hankerson, and fixed their problems. Mark will probably be willing to work for us.

It is a known fact that not having a ST Coach can cost a Team between 1-3 wins a year!! Common Mario, you are supposed to be a smart **** coach to have these problems!

Why would you need to remove another coach? Add Duper!!

You can only have 10 on field coaches, we have many analysts who coach various positions, including ST’s (Former nfl coach). So if you’re going to add a dedicated WR and ST’s coach, you must remove 2 on field coaches

Maloof coached ST, the entire outlook of ST if TS hadn't muffed that punt so the overreaction needs to stop. Receivers on the other hand is much more of a head scratcher. Maybe Gattis really is trash or we might need a more dedicated coach for that position, but the last 4 coaches couldn't get consistently above average play from that unit. The problem seems bigger than the coach. It appears that this issue will only be solved via recruiting & proper evaluations. Mario had the right idea aggressively pursuing several high end receivers but unfortunately we struck out on all them, only bringing in Ladson whose a depth piece at this point.

For what?!?! No coach can make these WRs catch if they can’t already. It’s not on the coach. Gattis just need recruit the WRs who can be game changers. If he can’t do that… then we have an issue.

100%. The special teams finally look like they set properly and cover well. The Rique decision was on Rique. Maloof has done a terrific job imo.

ST looked fine. Just a couple bad breaks/choices. WR on the other hand is bad.. but a new coach won't magically infuse talent. Hopefully we hit the portal hard.

We have both. I'm pretty sure Gattis doubles as both OC & WR coach, while Ponce doubles as Co-OC & QB Coach. Maloof is defacto STC but probably doesn't call the plays live in-game as a technicality of being an 'analyst'.

ST I'll buy.

Outside of that we don't need more coaches we can blame for the players mistakes.

The entire game isn't won solely on coaching, at some point they (players) have to execute, from I could see last weekend...it's not the coaches.
The plays I saw called on the field could have won us the game. Execution lost it for us.

College teams are unlike NFL teams that can have 5 coaches for every position group. College is alloted 10 on field coaches total including the Head coach. If you'd look across the country you'd see that every single college team has coaches pulling double duty
