We must crush FIU

So did I. Plenty of students on campus at 7 PM on a Friday. I’m guessing the game probably started at 6 or 630.

If I was going out, I never even thought about going out until 9 PM, usually later.

Zero excuse for the athletic department on this. We’re literally talking about getting a hundred or so people in the stands.

idk when you were there but a **** ton of the school would be at montys arojnd 4-5 ofr their happy hour. must have done diff things then. You couldn’t drum up interest in volley ball man esp on a Friday. Thursday’s maybe bc happy hour would be at the rat before heading to the grove

I hate the sec slurping, but they kinda have a point. They play LSU, we play UNC. They play Auburn, we play UVA.

That's why our OOC schedule is nonsense. We should really swap one of those patsies for a half way legit team. 2 patsies, 1 decent, 1 good team sounds about right.
They also rank each other in the top 25, so no matter how **** Auburn / LSU / Missouri are on any given year they start the season at #16 and bump the strength of schedule up.

It's a racket.

Rarely went there as a student. The most they can hold outside is a couple of hundred anyway.

I never knew there were so many Blake James defenders.
That's crazy. The guys incompetence is more than obvious. He might get lucky and Manuelito might grow up into a descent coach. That doesn't exempt him from his ineptitude...

Plenty of students at the U who wouldn't go to Monty's. I knew a core group who would go to the Rat. That was before the remodel. I'm not taking away from Monty's. I'm just saying their is plenty of students to go around.

we would do the rat thursdays for thirsty thursdays and then the grove at night (oh the drunk shuttle on the way back till they banned it for a bit). fridays would be montys for us. like i said, i dont think the rat or montys crowd is gonna be hitting up the vbb game on a friday night in miami.

In no way...shape or form is he salty at UM....Stop with the untruths...

I don’t agree.

Scheduling is done many years ahead of time. How do we know what the status of other ACC teams will be 6-10 years down the road.

Auburn is now some juggernaut? LOL

Also, look at our schedule the next several years. No reason to complain.

Let's see how long LSU’s little run lasts, btw. The over/under is 2 years.

Nope. Keep doing exactly what virtually every other P5 team does.

And finally, if you don’t like how our OOC schedule looks, it’s 100% UFailure’s fault.

If the turds would consent to play us every year we would have two P5 OOC’s every year, something which 95% of the P5 teams WON’T do.
I don't have a problem with most of our schedules, but next year is silly. If we run the table I won't have any complaint, but on paper that's a loser of a schedule.

The only things we have any control over is who we schedule. As you point out, we don't know how good a team will be in a few years, but when you schedule UAB there's no pretext of that maybe being a good game. As I said, I'm fine with a few of those, but we should schedule some teams that might be ok as opposed to what we have next year.

And as for LSU, let's not pretend like they weren't a very good team the last few years as well. Just because they only beat bama this year doesn't mean they just got good.

No argument about uf, but again, we can only control what we can control. They won't play us.
