Out of all of the upper class men we might have 2 pros we missed aqm badly last night all second half it was obvious they couldn't get off blocks to save their lives

We dont have 2 difference makers - yes, they will make some team's practice squad and everyone will scream "Al has talent" but we dont have the talent we think we have

The D-line talent was good enough to win last night. We went full Dorito in the 3rd quarter and that was the ball game.

Is OP saying that someone took the players making plays in the first half and replaced them with players that couldn't in the second?

Makes sense.

Our dline is horrible in the 2nd half everything was a passing down for them and the only time We could get close to the qb was bringing 6 and getting burned by jameis

Getting zero pressure on Winston in the 2nd half last night is one of the many things that cost us the game.

Say what you want about the defense, they were holding up and forced FSU to FGs several times and caused the Cook fumble in the third.

Offense needed one more ******* score. Loss is on them not the defense IMO

Two TE fumbles and Two ST miscues cost us the game. Period! Conservative play calling hurt us but defense didnt do squat in the second half. Did FSU punt in the 2nd half can't remember, maybe 1 time???

Loss is on the coaches. Both of them took the foot off the pedal.

Defensively, it was painfully obvious we went back to our bend don't break. Winston had all the time in the world cause we never sent a blitz on him until literally their second to last drive.

One fluke strip of the ball by Kirby stopped an easy fluid drive for FSU that would've probably ended up in a touch down.

Defense, offense, special teams... They're all equally at fault.

All you need to know about our front 4's ability to pass rush is watch McCord struggle against a freshman LT and kamalu could not get around oleary one on one.

Our D line show no pass rush moves at all. All McCord can do is speed rush. The rest of them just engage the blocker and try to use power. It's pathetic. 2 things we need, more natural pass rusher and a proper d line coach to teach them how to pass rush. Franklin might be the worst coach in this staff

It was both sides that took their foot off the pedal. Its one thing to force field goals and another to attack and keep points off the board. Thats what we did the first half. Didn't in the second half and allowed them to get back into it by slowly chipping away at the score board.

Allowing field goals cause we bend don't break is not good defense. Its bull**** and and is one of the reasons our defense was once again gassed along with Golden shutting down the offense in the second half.

WQAM's Duane Starks criticized the defensive coaching after the game, saying he saw UM blitz only twice in the second half.
