Jacory and that whole group got anywhere from 1-6 games. Mostly 1 and Vernon got 6 for $1200. I'd imagine this costs more than $500 to rent a car like that not even knowing how long they rented it.

This may end up being a similar circumstance to what happened in 2011. They need to determine the amount of benefits received. Once there's a dollar amount, suspension length and amount to be paid back can be determined. I don't think this will end up being a huge, earth shattering ordeal but we're dealing with an NCAA infraction and the program is on probation. It needs to be taken seriously. Those suggesting to sweep it under the rug and pretend it didn't happen are delusional, at best.

Why? So the NCAA can get involved and find 1 small piece of evidence saying they took impermissible benefits, which makes them ineligible... Period. No questions asked. Then vacate every win of the season.

Wish it was as simple as 2-3 games. If there's any evidence they took ANYTHING they're probably gone for the season. If they can't find evidence but prove they didn't cooperate, then you'll see 2-3-4 games or something

Jacory, Spence and the rest of those guys took stuff and didn't get kicked out. They got suspended. Aldarius Johnson didn't talk and got kicked off. This isn't all or nothing. There are degrees of punishment. It's more likely they'll be done for not cooperating than for actually doing something and admitting to it.

If this has been going on since January, if the compliance office felt they were fully cooperating it would already be over in my opinion. They may not find any evidence but if they do/have already done, I don't see it ending well.

They're going to get suspended but there is no reason to make a decision right now. Diaz is installing his different blitz packages, so Grace definitely needs to be there for that.

Olivier Vernon was suspended 6 games and had to pay back his $1200. The cheapest car at this place is $349 & $499 per day. That would be 3 games right there. Better hope they chose the Range Rover and not a Bentley I guess

LOL at dudes jumping on OP. This is far from over. Read the tea leaves. You got the two main guys--Grace and AQM--missing practice right around the same date where it was announced a week or so ago that they'd be meeting with UM officials.

Next week is when it'll be settled at least for grace. No worries bout me. I laugh at these responses from these characters. If only they were that passionate about attending our games than these *** clowns from other schools couldn't make fun of our game day attendance

#1 they all know. #2 I said probable meaning possibly dismissed. What's definite is that the suspension will be indefinite. From that point we have to petition the ncaa. I say probable because of two things. #1 were on probation & can't afford to take on the ncaa again right now. #2 it's not as simple as yall think. Regardless right now is all about having everyone know the playbook & being ready for the season. It's all on compliance right now

it also stems from them knowing more than they said and/or lying to coaches

Bingo. Had they just come clean, they would be practicing and probably have a 1-2 game suspension.

It's always the coverup that gets people in trouble. Just own what you did, and move forward.
