I'm not an X's and O's guy, but isn't the allure of Jermaine Grace that he's already kind of a hybrid LB/Nickel that gives us more flexibility to run a pseudo-nickel from a 4-3 base? I've never seen Jamal Carter play OLB, but I imagine he would be pretty good at covering TEs. Would he do well against a speedy slot guy too or would that not be his responsibility?

I understand we look at APP ST & think theyre a pushover but actually they are a pretty good team..They are only +21 @ Tenn week 1. We will only be around -10 @ APP ST. They needed to be looked at as a real opponent.

I've been a fan of this program long enough to know that when there is smoke, there is usually fire. At this point, I'm expecting the worst but hoping for the best. I just don't trust anything when put in the hands of these stupid UM committees. Callaway gets accused of raping a girl at UF and he will be cleared to play. Bama has multiple players with felony arrests that get magically erased and serve no suspensions. AQM swings on his roommate, gets no criminal charges, and is suspended for the entire year by the school.

Does any of that have to do with taking care of your own business the way it should be taken care of?

Perhaps Papa Shaq can shed light on some of the guidance his young man or even himself is given by the team, school, compliance department related to things not to do, etc.

Example: No free **** of value.
Player interpetation: Exotic Rental cars are ok. Not like I am keeping the car.

Employer: You cannot receive things from a vendor of value exceeding X amount.

The difference between your examples, and college athletics is that you're also encouraged to ask Compliance, if there's ever any doubt. There's people at Compliance whose job it is to answer those questions for student-athletes. It's not that hard to ask someone. You have a responsibility to the program, and to yourself to protect your eligibility. This isn't Alabama, where people will look the other way, this is a major city, people talk.

I'll wait this one out while hoping for the better. Remember Miami gun shy of the ncaa since they obviously have a different set of compliance rules for us. Bit off topic, but how can a cat like Ridley, who is poor even by working class blacks standards, can drive a Camaro, but rolling out a lease job is career ending?

At what position? Get real Trent Harris is more than capable of playing well and zach mccloud should be able to step right in for grace he has that ability to do so
