It all plays into the perception of the SEC, that everybody buys into.

They gerrymander their schedules to make it look like they play the toughest & best competition, but they're no different from any other teams in other conferences.

The SEC is just a top heavy conference, like they always are. It's 3, sometimes 4 teams at max that are actually "good", the rest are middling. They just play such weak schedules on an annual basis their records look better than they actually are.

I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt but the A&M game and afterwards I was like wow this dude is already cooked

There was a play TVD inexplicably missed I think it was Mallory open for a big play. Gattis brought it up as a missed chance

It blew my mind. He was right but same time it was pretty much the only big play chance we had

Pretty much any college offense is about putting pressure on the defense. The plays usually aren’t that complicated. Just keep firing bullets and it’ll work out

Anyway…venting about old ****. Dawson does some stuff that gets me sometimes but that’s any OC. Glad to have him back

Remember we just bogged down the offense after we passed the 50. Redzone gameplan was nonexistent

Say what you want about Dawson but one thing he does that’s impressive is successfully tweak his offense with a completely overhauled offensive roster or new QB every season. 2025’s offense was nothing like 2024. He knew how to build something based on Beck and the talent we had. Most coaches are stubborn and unwilling to change or listen to their QB. There’s gotta be a reason we keep landing top QB’s in the portal every offseason because it’s not just money. I think good QB’s want to play for a guy who values and respects them.

Listen to Mensah at ACC media day and that is exactly what he is saying, that Dawson builds the offense around his talents and what he likes.. When the offense hits and is one of best in country, haters gonna say Mensah installed it lol..
