This goes far beyond Manny at this point. We scare Epstein and co, Manny gets fired anyways.

Hiring ONE PARTICULAR GUY is not the message. There are multiple candidates who would fit the bill at AD and HC.

The REAL issue is NOT to pick another underqualified untalented AD, and NOT to retain Manny.

You keep redefining the "question" and then acting as if an answer has not been provided. If you don't want to participate, fine, step aside and let those who are passionate about UM making a substantive change in the type of AD we hire...communicate these feelings to the BOT.

Anyone who is confused or indifferent or uninterested on who our next AD should be...is welcome to join the new Athletic Director's Club in order to get to know Tony Hernandez better. I'm sure he has an amazing vision for what he can accomplish at UM, and it probably involves better locker rooms and hiring a couple of extra analysts.

I can’t stand to see Miami lose and I love to see Miami win period. It’s that simple for me . Doesn’t mean I support Manny or accept his job performance in any way shape or form

And listen, due primarily to differences in opinion all of us have **** upon others on this site in good fun. However, the one opinion all of us that take the time to post here share is that the college football landscape is better with a good version of UM in existence . Everyone on this site loves this program in their own little ****ed up way

Agree with everything you said including the timelines of these upcoming crucial hires . I posted this a while back but many of us on this board are business owners whose individual disciplines cross paths with some of these people calling the shots at UM. Also, the private school community in Miami is a small place and many of us on this message board went to schools like CCHS and we all know how those networks/friendships translate as you get older . Many of us have clients and friends either on the BOT, on staff, or maybe significant donors from the Golden Canes club. If you have the opportunity, now is the time to apply pressure . If any of you donate , STOP. If any of you interact with these morons , SPEAK UP.

Yeah, I’m not rooting against kids wearing a U. I understand the thought process of guys like you rooting for losses. Most of us do - it’s your prerogative - but that doesn’t change how I approach being a sports fan. I was going to Canes games as a kid in the 70’s in the brutal heat when we sucked. Is becoming what we became was never expected by me. It was rewarding for someone like me who was there when we were nobody.

I don’t appreciate being called a cancer on a Canes message board by anyone, especially nouveau fans, for rooting for the kids who signed here… and other people don’t either as they’ve reported this crap as being offensive as ****.

Some of you better get your **** under control with incendiary language like this. If you act like animals - it’s off to the slaughter house.

The problem with this mentality is that in the context of the administration we’re forced to deal with , it’s just the very definition of short sightedness. I’m sorry , but to me the only thing that has ever and will ever matter is what is best for the long term health of the program . Short term meaningless wins do more harm than good with the agenda driven incompetent administration we unfortunately have in place .

And let me get this out of the way right now . Unless the changes we want to happen , happen soon….I’ll be rooting my mother f’ing *** off for our bowl opponent to beat us by 147 points .

That’s your prerogative. I understand your logic. It’s not how I approach being a sports fan. I don’t need some rabid dog calling me a cancer for it. The rabid dog’s gonna get put down. Big difference between Manny slurpers and people who choose not to root against our kids.

I hear you , I simply can’t reconcile with your line of reasoning . I won’t call you a cancer but if along with “rooting “ you are also going to games or in any way financially supporting the school….then you would fall under the header of “being part of the problem “ in my book.

This is unfortunately what this administration does to us.
