After 2 seasons, I was willing to accept that, but not after 3, and not after the D that he COMPLETELY built was the 2nd worse in the ACC only behind Duke.

2 seasons? Yeah, OK. Others want his head on a pike, but I'd like to see a bigger body of evidence from which to draw conclusions.

3 seasons with a veteran "stacked" team and you have one less win than a Covid shortened previous year? The worst tackling in the country and one of the worst D's in the country?

Nah. It's too much. This isn't Miami circa 1974 when you "had" to give coaches at least 4-5 years before making real evaluations.

Look, we know who he is and we can do better. I'd prefer Herman at this point, even though I think we do have other options in addition to Lane/Mario, who would return us to an annual 10 win team.

Wednesday is the day. If Wednesday comes and goes, I will begin to worry a little.

If the week ends and he's still out there recruiting with a cheshire cat smile, I will begin hitting the panic button.

A bad AD will retain Manny for another year and then hire another Manny to coach for the next four years. A good AD will fire Manny and hire a good coach. The AD is more important than the coach at this point.

Easily the biggest point in this whole situation. We have the resources (allegedly) to swing for the fences and we're getting the signal to bunt.

I think many of you are completely overstating the issue. Including Andrew.

A few vocal fans aren’t swaying the decision making of the people who run a university. Just chill out for a few days and let people have some time to do their jobs diligently and thoroughly. And remember that no matter what happens, you always have the choice to not support a college athletic program. You can choose not to attend games or watch them on TV. And based on the panicked replies to this thread by some of our posters, it may do you well.

A good AD would've nipped it in the bud and forced Diaz to hire a legit DC last year, or B, hired a legit DC Himself.
