We have lost the plot

I would since I was raised in the country but as a 19 year old star football player? Nope lol.

I guess I'm referring to the geography of an area like Corvallis is something that appeals to me but I'm with you regarding the demographics of that area. Oregon is a weird state and only gets weirder the more north you go.
I have never met an even almost normal person from Oregon. Ever. I am sure there are exceptions. But I don't know any of them.

Being so worried about what other people are doing that you force it into conversations that have literally nothing to do with it is the gayest **** possible.
Uh, I was referring to what someone else brought up.
Did you even read the thread?

Calm down Karen.

The stream popped up on my algo. Honestly, I may be dead wrong but the kid doesn’t give “look at me” vibes at all. Really feels like just a show of commitment to the school.
Organized by pops. You know how this story goes, unfortunately.

Legree does seem like a good kid. Just question the outside influence.

Beautiful country. Family in the area and certainly it’s a bit more free spirited but no less strange to me than South Florida, just different.

likely a requirement from his new NIL deal. thought to build momentum for Oregon St I guess? the divide is getting larger and larger

My favorite part is that this literally couldn't mean less. He signed a completely non-binding agreement and if he wants to go full Mensah at the end of the season, he can. Fun to talk about, I guess.

Mid season announcements hosted by cbs sports. College football is so far off the rails.

Glad kids can make money they deserve it but this is so far from the sport I grew up watching and loving.

I still watch every game and attend some each year as well but it doesn’t feel the same. Maybe I’m just getting old. I’d be curious if ppl under 25 feel the same way or if this digital fast pace world they grew up in make its not a big deal with the mess college football has become.

Sure, let’s return to the days of Alabama, UGA, et al, stomping us out in recruiting talent because they pay under the table and we’re not allowed.

The reason we’ve been in the hunt the last couple of years is because the changes in college football have allowed us to be competitive in acquiring and retaining talent.

No thanks to the last 20+ years of bull****.

That was(n't) exciting........

Obviously just a random person tweeting this and no idea how valid it is but I mean it’s completely possible. Would be smart af by them honestly.

There is more than one flavor of weird.
