Donaldson to me is a great OL, and is good in pass protection and road grading but I see him as a Right Tackle. We need a Left Tackle real bad and I do not see any young kid that we have that will be a quality LT. If we flip that kid from Pensacola then we have a future 1st rounder. I know we are hard on the kid but does anyone know the LT situation at Alabama? Who do they currently have and what other possible LT types have they recruited? I know Left Tackles do not grow on trees but there has got to be a quality LT out there for us to jump on.

Leatherwood I think will flip eventually but Bama will hype up that he c an be the next Cam Robinson aka a top 5 pick so we must fight a huge battle there

St. Louis has potential. Tre Johnson and Hillery down the road will compete if they matriculate.

Some of the stuff some of peopel believe . Leatherman is in Bama land and he committed to Bama . What makes you believe we will flip him ? I hope we do but don't like the chances .

Johnson from last class as a possibility. I also think we need to get a juco tackle by next class. We have numbers at ol but some of the quality isn't there

Leatherwood ain't coming. Don't even think bout it..his area of fla is more Bama than fla

I've heard enough evaluations raving about Donaldson's elite feet to say, why can't he be a LT? He may not be the pure LT prospect Leatherwood is, but is he's a starting LT in the ACC you're not going to struggle. You always want to get better but I wouldn't be worried.

Hillery and Johnson have potential and Dykstra is RT or RG.

Just my 2 cents but when i watched both Leatherwood and ND leatherwood had a much harder time w/ speed rushers........he plays w/ better base and leverage but Donaldson looked his equal........

it's Donaldson.

he's a 5 star talent easy & the fact that you dismissed him as a future LT so quickly indicates that i shouldnt put any more effort into this thead past this period.

St. Louis, Hillery, Donaldson, Johnson, from that group.

Still in play for Telfort and Leatherwood

I'm not sure why folks think Leatherwood will come here.

He's a panhandle kid that's committed to Alabama.

On Donaldson, I think he's got the skill set - just needs the coaching.

A lot of people questioned Donaldsons money position being at T earlier in the year. He's made a ton of strides of the summer and changed a lot of minds. Leatherwood may project a little better at LT than Donaldson but i don't think there's any reason to doubt Donaldson can play at high level there.

Lol stop at even thinking there's a chance for leatherwood. I don't think it's even UM if it's not bama. We don't get kids from the panhandle. Stop.

I believe Donaldson can be the answer also. The kid's game reminds me of Trent Williams so much. He's not a 6'7",6'8" guy with pterodactyl wingspan, but he has adequate height & length, he's an ornery SOB and is a SUPREME athlete. Kinda like, well, Trent Williams. I think if he puts in the work, he can wind up producing like him on Saturdays & Sundays.

Why I reckon whoever wins the starting job will be our future LT

St. Louis, and Bar will play right or Guard! Donaldson is a possibility at left tackle! They might be selling him that!
