Love them Cane's.. we had a .38 against a Bazooka.

-TVD reads the field like a backup on the New Jersey turnpike... And then throw to the tighest coverage. Before his re-injury bless his heart.

- Our D got tired literally Midway through the second quarter you could see his hands on hips already . Says a lot, but interpret how you want.

- We played our 3 rd strong QB. And he sucked. He sucks, unless he adjusted the college game the speed. He ain't in high school. He looked reactive and the game was 100mph.

-We have absolutely zero toughness we're just not a tough team anymore. We haven't been for 20 years.

Hopefully Mario will get some dudes that want to f****** not lose. I knew when I played organized sports and went up basically to high School level, that we hated losing. Absolutely hated losing. We lost three times over 3 years as white boys playing hoops.

Hated the taste of busting your ****, having an L and then taking showers. Our coach literally threw the ball at us and beat us not to lose.

Nothing sucks more getting bombed by a rival.

Yes because that's ALL it takes to win in today's cfb; you gotta want to ,"not f*****g lose." Coaching, scheme, playcalling, clock management be damned, the kids just gotta will themselves to victory. Wish it, want it, do it. I'm sure Tennessee, Clemson, Bama, all lost yesterday because the players didn't want to "not f****g lose" hard enough while the teams they played desired it more. Y'all kill me with these The U Part 1 and 2 soundbites thinking that's going to carry the team to 10 wins.
 
The defense has been a liability in recent years, and now it isn’t any better by no means. Speed is missing and teams, good and bad are exploiting it.
But what we got this year is the worst thing if you want to win… we can’t perform on offense at a P5 level… **** maybe not even at Div-II level. This is absolutely the worst offense we’ve had ever. Everything about the offense sucks big time.
We are toast folks… burnt toast.

Sure, 5 and 4 stars are great. But we need a team of 3 s that take no ish. Provits. Fighters. Dogs.

We have got to fight as a team again.

And when I say dogs. Full Southern White American Bulldog. They get it dun. Hard core dogs. Powerhouse dogs. Full bite Hog.

Mario needs to recruit fighters. Hate to lose kids. ALL POSITIONS.
 
This was the worst effort I have ever witnessed by any cane team. The FSU rivalry has absolutely lost all meaning or any significance what so ever to our present team. I seriously question if they care. It’s obvious by the answers at the press conferences after games winning is not a priority. It’s the same dead pan answers. They speak of going back to work, but they just get worse.Mario on a professional level will accept the blame but not really address issues of the team’s acceptance to quitting on one another their lack of pride and the fact that they don’t care about playing for this staff. To me that’s obvious. I know a lot of posters here want to see schemes and plays to fit our level of talent. But from what I see there is no talent And no real “ team “ effort. they call it dealing with adversity, they call it changing the culture. I call it sh#t football.

We just don’t have enough athletes capable to compete.

Looks like we’re finally seeing this .

I ask a coach one time why I have to play so many positions and never come off the field.

“ We do not have the athletes to compete “

I’m telling you all the same thing.

We are weak in every aspect of football period.

Of all the high profile coaching changes we are the dumpster fire, we could be the worst team in CFB and we probably lose out, we got crushed by MTS let that sink in. USC, ND, Oregon, LSU and even Florida have bought into what their new coach is doing with their programs. Our kids don't believe in themselves anymore and have quit on MC and plenty of blame goes around. The kryptonite of the coaching staff is Gattis, he has to go, like yesterday. He has no ability to adapt and this offense has zero tempo. He is so overrated it is laughable, he is to MC what Coach D'Onofrio was to Golden ( kryptonite ). If MC was smart and doesn't play this being stubborn he fires Gattis at seasons end, I don't ever remember UM ever lighting it up with an RPO attack. Cristobol is below average as a game day coach, he will be aided with his recruiting this year because of our NIL money, if we didn't have that no kid would want to come here. A lot of blame here to spread around from every player to every coach, we are horrible.

Not enough dogs or fighters to beat MTSU? He proved last year that he had recruited the dogs to get his **** pushed in by Utah 2 games in a row. This was a 7 win team last year with a much more difficult schedule and he has somehow brought it to a 4 maybe 5 win team. These kids are obviously not the Dan Morgan’s, Vilma’s, Reed’s, etc of the previous generation but let’s not believe that these kids don’t have any heart. Something just isn’t meshing with Mario and his staff and the team as a whole. Remember there are around 30 players that are brand new who never played for Manny on this team this year.

It’s pretty concerning when Dorlus shunned Mario even with reports of NIL money offered to him and the 2 kids preferred to go to Auburn even with their mess of a coaching situation instead of following Mario here, Benson seems to have broken out without being in Mario’s shadow and Feld’s Strength & Injury program.
 
What could possibly be the next move? We got 0 touchdowns in 8 qtrs defense gets abused every game. Offensive play calling is as bad or worse than Enos. Oline is banged up but the backups don’t look like D-1 players at all OR they haven’t been coached the basics. I saw Gattis going off on the kids on the sidelines but they seamed uninterested in the message. Wonder if steel could count the scoreboard on how many points his defense gave up?

Steele has disappointed me a lot this year, thought he'd be much better
