We fell in the polls

BYU actually has a very good offense.

Their QB Zach Wilson is arguably the best QB in college Football, he has equal if not better arm talent than Trevor Lawrence.

Not saying they should be ranked #10 in the country, but they're probably being rewarded for having a really good QB.
What would it take for Zach Wilson to transfer here? (Joking, but not joking) King’s leaving and we have no QB committed.

To quote Art Kehoe at Casolas. Are you giving the win back?
**** no and God Bless Ramon (RIP), Monica, Augustin and everyone there at that Mecca that fed me well since I was a teen. Pile W’s and keep the class.

But no illusions that this is not a well-coached team. I’d rather see a ****ed coach right now than a celebratory, complacent one.

too bad it doesnt matter this year with the tie breakers in the ACC. theyre not using polls to break the initial tiebreakers. ND will get skunked by clemson and itll come down to the winning percentage and like records vs common opponents or some ****. polls dont really matter in our case for the ACCCG. either way, we know this team isnt a playoff team so it really doesnt matter. finishing with 2 losses to clemson will have us in an ny6.
Performance vs common opponents...

Whatever "performance" means.
ND closed the gap yesterday, according to my over-simplified interpretation.

Canes 2
ND 1
4 games to go.

Brian Kelly should be sweating like a blind ******* in a fish market about the Clemson game because his boys are going to get wrecked. As I said, great time to be a bettor as that #3 fake rank is going to make the spread much closer than it should be.
That #3 (now #4) ranking and the nauseating fandom of the Irish spells e-a-s-y b-e-t in a couple of weeks.

Here's the reality:

In a 15 team conference our 4 conference wins have come against the 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th place teams. We play the 4th, 5th & 6th place ACC teams in the remaining five games.

That both merits the drop in the polls and gives this team all the opportunities it will need to climb in the polls over the coming 6 weeks.
These are facts and can not be argued, but all four of those teams have had the misfortune of playing Miami. Give them each one less loss and one more win and their rankings in conference are probably a little better. Strength of schedule matters when looking at this big picture.

BYU is a joke. Who of their wins warrants such a high rank?
3-3 Navy?
3-2 Troy?
3-3 Lousiana Tech?
3-2 UT San Antonio?
2-1 Houston?
2-4 Western Kentucky?

What a joke.
I do agree but what makes Miami warrant their ranking. Only team with a winning record Miami beat is UAB. Miami struggled at home against a now 1-4 team. The offense is like dIAZ defense. Dominant against lower tier teams.....struggle against a team with any talent and good coaching. Miami will lose probably 2 of the last 4 games and get rolled if we play anyone half decent in the bowl game.

The talent of players and especially coaching is average at best.

If we're very lucky, Kenny Pickett will transfer and boost his draft stock. Pickett+Lashlee > Burrows+Brady

This is the equivalent of Enos wet playbook. We will look back at this in a couple of years (hope next year).
I just have a feeling this is the image we’re going to come back to. More so possibly than this:
