We are playing the #6 team in the country in the Orange ....

Man, y'all fair weather mofos need to get off my QB. He ain't perfect but we've won 10 games and got to our first NY6 bowl in 14 years. And we made it to our first ever conference title game. We beat FSU for the first time in 8 seasons, and also beat Virginia Tech and kicked #3 Notre Dame's *** in the prime time game of the week. There will be plenty of time during the spring to determine if Rosier is our best option at QB moving forward, but until then, he's my QB and he's earned my respect this season.

I'm not trying to totally excuse for Rosier for the past few games (after all, he's been inaccurate all year and he is who he is) BUT I honestly wonder if he did get hurt. I've heard UNC game but regardless...

He really made a lot of nice throws this year. Obviously he was "off" a lot as well, but for the most part there was always an up for a down. Watching this video and also just limiting it to Berrios this year in general, he threw a lot of dimes. But the last few games he's looked absolutely horrible. Can't make any throws. Doesn't match up with the rest of the season.

As I posted elsewhere, I'm curious to see if the time off is reflected in his performance IF he was hurt at all.

He might have hurt his shoulder, or it's mental. But, even in the games he won, go back and watch the entire games, not the highlights. He looked bad for large portions of those games, and missed lots of easy throws. It started on the first or second series against Bethune. What we saw this year was his ceiling. He can make any throw, he has guts, but he can miss any throw too, at any time, with or without pressure, and he's not, and never will be an elite QB.

I don't think anyone with a functioning brain could make the case that Rosey was ever "sharp." What he is is a baller who did some pretty amazing things when he had to in order for us to pull out a few more wins than the world gave us credit for entering this season. Take some time off. Get his head back in the game, and heal up any lingering injuries, and do that **** one more time.

We're rolling out in our black uniforms. Not excited for that look. Once a year is fine, but for our bowl game? Nah.

This. The difference in the Pitt game was maybe one or two throws he didnt make. He hits one or two of those, and its another eeked out win like UNC, GT, Cuse, FSU, etc. Bad throws, 3 and outs, with a big TD play or two was his norm.

Christ, how many blowouts do we get if he capitalized on all the early TOs our D got us? Other team drives, we intercept, Rosier goes three and out, other team drives after our awful punt, we intercept, Rosier goes three and out, ad nauseum until we get a big rtun or run after catch for a score.

That said, I'm so glad we had Rosier and not Kaaya. Kaaya would have put up big numbers, and lost to FSU and 3 or 4 others.

Now NEXT year, its all on Richt to have a real QB in his third year.

I'm thinking we're about where we should be, and if we beat wispy we go to 7 or 8 which is about right. Only bama can be top 5 with no qb

How can any fan not be fired up? WTF, we are at home, in the Orange Bowl, against the #6 team in the nation, this is our chance to open up any plays we have(using DJ more), D-fense to step up, Malik to get his shiit together and win a big ******* game. I get the feeling from this board that we are dead and there is no excitement. Wake the fvck up, this is big game for us. Our offense is hurting, defense is ready, lets go beat that Whisky ***. Crowd, bow up and show your pride, this is almost as big as Miami/ND! We lose and we look like any other 3 loss team. We win and we are 11-2 and one of the top 5 in the country. Get your heads out of your *** and make some noise!
GO CANES!!!!!!

I hope Miami is ' fired up ' for the game. Because they MAY BE still suffering from the ' ego doldrums ' and what not. In other words, from a psychological perspective those two season ending losses took A LOT out of the team! hUh.

The bottom line: If Miami doesn't come out READY TO PLAY, Wisconsin is going to molest them akin to what Clemson did to them.:Qft9gEw: dUh.

Oh, and one more thing. If Miami defeats mighty Wisconsin they WON'T jump into the Top 5. Simply because they are currently ranked No. 10, and many ' dominoes ' would have to fall for Miami to be ranked No. 5, or higher. OUCH.

Besides ND and maybe Duke, and arguably VT, we really didnt come out ready to play all year. Clemson was just way better than our opponents, and instead of being down by 3 or even ahead at half, like Toledo, FSU, GT, Cuse, UNC, etc, we were blown out quickly.

Flat has been our norm with few exceptions.

I dig U. You're a man of infinite reason and all that. hUh.

our fans suck. jesus christ. havent read pages 2-3 but if its anything like page 1 i'm saving myself a headache. Wish some of you pvssies would go chear for FIU. a few others and myself will be rocking with #12 , who got us to this point and the rest of these canes. dont want to see any posts from the people who posted negatively, once we smack Wisconsin.

Rosier is so bad It reminds me of the character Ray Finkle in Ace Ventura Pet detective. Neither can hit their targets.

Actually he's not he's just had two really bad games, we all knew he wasn't going to set the world on fire, but this constant bashing **** is getting old. The guy is limited and it's our staffs responsibility to put him in situations where he can get some confidence and go on a run.

Last I checked he still beat FSU, VT and ND.

The TEAM beat fsu, vt, and nd.... IN SPITE of Rosier.

Sorry, but Rosier is just bad. People get butthurt when you say that about the QB, but I'm just speaking truth.

We won a lot of games DESPITE guys like Knowles, Darling, McCloud, Rosier, and Richards having terrible seasons. We won because other guys stepped up and played great like Shaq, Pinkney, Johnson, McIntosh, Berrios, etc.

And an awful OL. Running on first down was basically an automatic 2nd and 8 or worse, and short yardage downs were hopeless. We may have set a record for the least TDs on first and goal .posessions.

Christ, looking back, seems like every game saw a flat start, dozens of miscues (OL whiffs, dropped passes, bad throws), terrible punting, and the D was Bipolar. Add the depth, youth, and talent issues at spots, plus injuries................... ****! We could have been 1-11 with Folden as HC!

At least Rosier wasnt an automatic tap out in big games. That was nice. And the team believed, and played hard enough, and made big plays, that gave us wins. In the past, inferior teams just beat us in every aspect. Canes had the start of swagger this year.

Cant wait for a deep, talented roster of elite classes!
