Nobody hates a loser. There was no worse feeling than being ignored or even worse, having someone feel sorry for you. The general feeling towards Miami for the last 20 years had been apathy. Maybe some occasional hype when the program showed some life or during the Shapiro scandal but it’s been a long time since Miami has been actually “hated”

I love Georgetown hoops. I go to one game every year. They never were in the same category as the Canes. I don’t know many people that ever hated the Hoyas.
