We All Make Mistakes

LSU fans think Rashard is the next great cb because of how great he's playing. I always thought he was the one guy who we didnt get that really hurts because of his cover ability

I don't care much for Rashard because the buzz around Burns is intense. He's expected to be a bonafide beer chugger, hole plugger, turn around and **** your mother, superstar.

Off topic, but somehow someway golden and staff have to get more of these kids to pick UM.Doing a good job now, but just a few more kids. Doesn't even have to be all of them. But look at The trend recently, in regards to kids from the south Florida area. The high rated/hyped guys all seem to be balling out at some point in their freshman/sophomore year. Even the guys who "blow up" late like Eddie did are starting over these so called 4-5 stars from other places. Don't know what it is, but it's happening. The best running back, and wide receivers at fsu are all souh Florida kids. Absoloutely NO reason Devonta Freeman shouldn't be on UMs squad right now, that's on Shannon. Greenes from Georgia, but still no reason for him to be at fsu. Arkansas might have a 0 or 1 in the win column without Collins there. BAMA doesn't repeat without Amari last year.

"Kirkland. Championships are won in the trenches."
"You take Kirkland. No discussion. Easy call."
"Kirkland. Guarantees 6 and solidifies the OL."
"Kirkland. For a lot of reasons. But mainly because with Coley's attitude I could easily see him becoming a bust no matter where he goes."
"Easy answer: Kirkland."
"Kirkland hands down"

You should kinda add the part where many people thought Kirkland would lead us to Matthew Thomas and Chad Thomas. Context helps.

My boy Gogeta and I one of the few and proud to nail it.

As much as I like Coley, I'd still take Kirkland over him if it meant the Thomas guys. Coley may very well be a first rounder when he leaves here, but we're in South Florida, have access to great skill position guys and my opinion is Kirkland + Thomas + Thomas > Coley. ****, I'd take Kirkland if it meant ensuring Chad Thomas.

Curious if others would do differently.

I didn't post in the thread, but I will say that all three look like major studs.

That will change once this sanctions cloud is past us. The job considering the circumstances has been excellent in regards to recruiting.

As a True Frosh, Kirkland's starting at RG for Bret Bielema. Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of him as a Tackle (someone can dig up those threads; thought he'd be a good Tackle, but potentially really good at G), but I thought he'd eventually make an excellent Guard. Didn't think he'd be starting in year one, though. He may end up a high pick himself.

smh i'm disappointed in you Lu, I really am....

I dont see no Stacy Coley's coming down the line in the next couple years mane.

Derrick Griffin didnt qualify, Jon. Carter out, Rashawn Scott injured.... Stacy Coley was the most important recruit in last year's class.

Miami already had 3 OLineman committed, and Kirkland would be 2nd string only b/c Isidora got hurt, but he's not that important from a personnel stand point.

As far as Matthew Thomas, Alex Figueroa is better then him, of course it wouldve been great to have him, but Figs made missing out on him quickly forgettable. Matthew Thomas barely gettin on the field at FSU and their starting LBs arent even that good besides Telvin Smith.

That's not really the question though. Out of the three, which one would you take? Forget 2 for 1 deals and the like.

Im still riding with Stacy Swag Coley.

Gotta give the same answer, homie. I take the one who I think is gonna bring me the two guys I really want. That's what I said then and I feel the same now. Not like I'm changing anything about my answer.

I don't see any Stacy Coley's either, though Dixon and Rudolph are pretty good playmakers. You're making too early a call on Matthew Thomas, I think. Doesn't have anything to do with Figs. And, again, if you read the original thread, most people (not all, I realize) were thinking one guy (Kirkland) led to the other guys.

It's not like any of this is a knock on Coley. Been a huge fan. Still am a huge fan. Just giving my honest opinion and sticking to what I value most: impact Defenders.

Torrance Gibson and SBB in 2015 at WR will be in the same "elite" category as coley. Obviously Gibson will be at qb so he won't get to showcase his talent at wr, but if he makes the switch in college he will be an immediate impact guy.

LET ME RE-PHRASE THE QUESTION:

IF you could only have ONE, which would you take. Stop skating the question, Bill Belicheck.

Stacy Coley is the best talent of the three. Want proof that's not a new opinion? One month prior to the thread in question, here's where I compare his ability to get in and out of breaks (IMO, the most important quality in a WR) to Sammy Watkins: http://www.canesinsight.com/threads/42131-Has-Kyle-seen-this-video-of-Coley-SIAP. Go back and look at some of the things I said about Denver Kirkland (moving inside, etc.). Add 'em up.

In this thread in question, the OP asked "who'd you take of the three and why?" I literally answered: "Easy. The guy I think will bring me two guys I think are superstars and contribute along the OL."
