One question on my mind is if the Top 3 or 4 or 5 asked ( Mario, Lane, Stoops, etc) ALL turn us down (and this certainly seems remotely possible) does retaining Manny begin to look more feasible then, to even Jurich's eyes.? Not sure how I would feel myself; if for example it was choice ONLY between Manny or Mullen, or similar.

This. We are a five loss team that regressed on defense and lost to one of the worst FSU teams in memory. If we want to celebrate Duke (who is 0-8 in ACC) as an accomplishment then this is exactly why we don't play for championships any longer. Heck, we don't even win bowl games anymore. Reminder that Manny talked a ton of **** taking over for Richt and saying this clearly wasn't a rebuild and all the other BS he said. Pure used car salesman goop.

Kiffin would’ve already signed his extension, he’s waiting on this job to open. You can’t tell me Money won’t be a factor if you are holding up a few days to save 2 million dollars, unless you’ve gotten a assurance from Mario that he is coming and you can’t hire him till next week any way so go ahead and save the money but if he has told him no then they need to fire him and bring in lane tomorrow. . If they know Manny is not back you can’t send him on the road recruiting.
