Kaaya is smart enough to get an honest opinion from the NFL. If they say "first round" he's gone, especially if there are very few QBs and the teams in the top 10 haven't drafted franchise QBs in the last two or three seasons.
I think the next bet for the 1st round might be Njoku. If he has big season (for a TE) he could go second half of the first round.
Coley can stay healthy and have a big season - like Dorsett's final season - and even then his scouting report would read "was only productive two seasons due to injuries."
AQM has done nothing to warrant being drafted Day 1. Is he a senior or a junior? If he has two seasons left it would behoove him to spend both learning from Coach Kool. He's unlike to grow taller and bigger so he'll need all the technique he can acquire. Shaq Lawson was a dominant, productive, pass rushing DE for multiple seasons at Clemson, and was drafted 19TH.
Grace lacks size, and that will keep him out of Day 1, and probably Day 2.
see my example of leonard floyd at UGA he had no where near great production only 4 sacks last year and with slight frame only 240 lbs and he went in the top 10, if muhammad measures well and tests great in his vertical and 40 yd dash he will go first round, its a myth that you need this great body of work to be drafted highly its all about measurables with a lot of scouts they look for traits that cant be taught like explosiveness and length
I understand your rationale but Leonard Floyd is very athletic at 6-5+ and a frame to add weight. NFL teams are projecting Floyd as pass rushing DE - built like Simeon Rice. AQM does not have the same attributes. I do think AQM has a place in the NFL as an edge pass rusher. He's not a scrub by any means, just not a Day 1 pick. Hey - he's a Cane and I hope I'm wrong!
Floyd is the kind of player I would avoid like the plague if I were a GM. His lack of production would turn me off. Production in college can be overrated, there have been too many 'combine warriors' who crush all the tests and then flounder in the league. At the same time there aren't many with Floyd's physical gifts, so the Bears took a chance.
I would have drafted Lawson over Floyd without hesitating.

I agree I was in a room of bears fans when the pick was made and everyone wanted lawson, I guess I can see why they picked floyd over lawson since they have two OLB's already with a similar build and skill set as lawson with pernell mcphee and lamar houston being wide bodied strong men who are run stuffers and can set the edge. floyd offers a speed change up and get off the line that lawson doesnt. with muhammad i have no idea what he will test but from a height weight perspective he matches up well size wise with a lot of the NFL's best edge rushers- clay matthews, von miller and khalil mack all list around 6'3" 250 pounds, and if he can manage to run a sub 4.7 40 with a good vertical jump, i have no doubt he can be at least a late 1st rounder[/QUOTE]
Agreed, providing he has more opportunity the shine in a better scheme and polishes his technique under Coach Kool.
