They should take more than a slight step back, they are loosing more than normal. This was the year they were supposed to compete somewhat and next year was suppose to be a down year.

The only teams we beat comfortably were the two that we weren't supposed to.
What this team should do goes out the window. Hopefully that changes.

Same as every other game. Their QB will complete every slant they throw. Our DT’s and DE’s will rush upfield on every single play like it’s a pass play. We will give up big running plays. If we get turnovers then we will win. If not, we lose.
The '05 Peach Bowl was in my first year living in Baton Rouge and solidified my eternal hatred for LSU (that and the fact that Warren Morris' picture is plastered to the wall of every sports bar in town). My car was egged after that game and I was ridiculed relentlessly for a year plus. I look forward to sacrificing many long-time relationships leading up to and after this game.
With that said, I see us winning 24-13.
With very few exceptions, LSU always fields a strong and ultra-talented defense, and Aranda is as good as they come. They do lose a fair number of starters, and their recent DL's have not been as deep or as talented as they once were, but they've recruited well and always have the horses. Their DB's are always ultra-aggressive and play the ball well, so we will need smart decision making, but a solid dual threat QB is capable of moving the ball well against them.
Offensively, they really do suck. They obviously have athletes, but Orgeron restricts the play calling (similar to Miles) and they will be breaking in a new OC (most likely Ensminger, who is a good offensive mind, but whose likely hiring is indicative of deeply rooted administrative problems that will lead to the continued decline of the program). Assuming Guice declares, this will be the first year in a while they won't have an absolute stud at running back, and they'll be breaking in a talented, but young QB (either Brennan, a rising sophomore who played sparingly this year, or Narcisse, a rising redshirt freshman who hasn't played live football in a solid 2 years). I will be disappointed if we give up more than 14 points, even with our DT situation.
The vibe of the program is extremely negative right now, and we should be able to drive the program further into the gutter.

makes a lot of sense given that noone beat them comfortably this past year and noone usually beats LSU comfortably, but keep on with your unfounded dumb expectations so you can meltdown for dumb reasons

About .500 or even better, I would say. Its not like his 1-14 vs UF or 2-13 vs UT depravity. I recall UGA beating LSU in big games more often than not.

Yeah UGA was good against LSU. They killed them in the SEC champ game in 05, which led to our peach bowl shellacking.
