Watching UVA win its brand new National Championship...

after we made it to the CWS, one can't help to wonder how on God's earth does UM drop so many games in Baseball and Football to our biggest rivals, Florida and Florida State! UM baseball beat UVA multiple times, but couldn't for the life of them get pass UiF. All UM had to do was beat a bleedin FSWho, but they played scared & let these verminoles crawled back. Dag, our season would have been successful, and freaking Al Golden would've been gone to another another gig.

I Can't wait for the day when we can once again beat up on our hated rivals!

UF has owned us in baseball for awhile. We were gift wrapped a trip to the CWS. If the committee doesn't give us such a weak regional there's a good chance we wouldn't have made it in.
 
Just happy the ACC brought home the trophy. Anything but the lizards or Vandy.

Our rounders beat national champ UVA multiple times this year, but couldn't play pass UiF. Nobody owns Canes! It's a mentality that's lacking in both sports from the neck up; talent is there to compete at highest level. The onus is on UM to have a radical culture change associated with winning and being never defeated in order to extricate itself from this sad state of malaise.

The saddest aspect of this is that Virginia, a (state) school Donna wished we would be in the same neighborhood academically, has a better athletic program from top to bottom right now than us. The mid-Atlantic ain't exactly barren recruiting ground but there's not a single sport not called lacrosse in which they have more nearby talent. And I type this as someone that hates their douchey fans.
 
wrote this in another thread we are to O Sullivan in baseball what we are to Mike London in football, both dudes would be at significantly worse jobs without our services
