I’m just baffled how you can watch the closing speed of TAC, Smith, and even Ragone’s instincts and somehow think playing BJ and others as much as they do is a good idea. Seriously, you can’t tell that they don’t see the clear drop off in talent between them especially when it comes to closing on the play and their play speed in general.

Just get this guy out of here already. This D obviously has the talent to be a decent unit but his stubbornness has destroyed it.

Coaches that don't play talent might as well dye their hair purple. Cause those r the types that tell kids they like (the yes sir kids) that the job is theirs because of friendships and other BS deciding factors.

One of Manny's biggest mistakes was not playing #18 (TAC) and #41 (Chase) much much sooner. They bring speed & suddenness. Chase made a play today that reminded me of what the Miami of old looked like. It made a huge difference on D today.

It actually felt like we had a serious presence in the middle of the field. Manny's big mistake was being too loyal for too long to upperclassmen and/or not evaluating the talent on his own roster well enough.

Granted, Duke is not a good team (had about 100 drops today) but their offense only scored 3 points because we had LBs that were simply present, fast & made tackles. TAC & Chase should play a lot more.

they will regress under Manny.

This is the same guy who started Patchen over Rousseau
He doesn't know talent unless it performs on Saturday. His evals have always been bad even since his time at UT. So none of this is surprising to me. If we can see that Flagg was bad based on a highlight tape and he can't that's bad. They can trick the go canes or the canething3 but the gurus knew Flagg was stuck in zero g.

Some players suck in practice yet shine under the bright lights. Sapp was like that which ages it hard to ascertain which players love the spotlight.

Did TAC play today? He and Chase Smith are Elite Athletes at this level and both should have gotten major minutes this year. Keontra Smith also has the athletics and with a new coach our LBs can go from bad to good with those three.
