Watching ESPN in Italy 8/24

Anyone have experience streaming overseas? I cannot miss this game live and doubt they will be showing ESPN on any of the TV's.

Thanks in advance!
I have streamed Canes games while in Italy. I used a VPN, and signed on to US servers- so ESPN sees you as being in the US.
I have IPVanish. Another really good one is ExpressVPN. It costs me about $5 a month. It is actually a good idea to use a VPN as much as possible, as it helps your security and also hides your IP Address- for safety.

How does one go about getting a VPN? I had to google what a VPN is...o_O

Either of these works really well. My son lives in Thailand, and he streams ESPN using ExpressVPN. It's easy. Go to their web site, subscribe, and download the app onto your phone, Mobile device and smart TV. There are youtube videos which help. It is really simple to use.

There’s a guy here that posts from Italia. Can’t remember what his handle is. And I know there’s at least a couple or three guys from the UK that might be able to help. One of them is @OldhamA

Here I am.

I watch the Canes from my ESPN App and before that from the streams found on reddit.

No, unfortunately there are no place to watch college football through the night (or at all tbh).

The good? I can’t go back to bed after a good win (vs Notre Dame for example)
The bad? I can’t go back to bed after a bad loss (too much to remember)

Oh, and I can’t scream in the middle of the night.

I was there in 2005 when Miami played Vag Tech and watched ESPN while I was there. It's 14 yrs later so I would assume you should have no problems. ESPN is broadcasted all over the world.

Not in Italy anymore. We had ESPN classic for a while and we were able to watch some college football but now they deleted the channel.

We live in a soccer world here, which is good but not amazing imho.

In the EU, is the ESPN app a paid subscription...I’m guessing it is.

Oh, and thanks for the response.

I'm from Switzerland, and I stream every game via the Espn Player App... works like a charm! I assume that the game will be on, since It's a big game in general. Also if you find a bar or place where they show the game, you cannot be sure that they won't close before 4am.

I was stationed in Italy for 3 years just use reddit.com/r/cfbstreams . There will be a link that posts streams. I never had a problem with it, and used it all last season in Japan too, they posts links for streaming from US and international.

I’ve visited Lugano, beautiful place. Wish I could have snowboarded in Switzerland while I lived in Europe, I’m trying to get back there though.

Switzerland, we have a lot of diverse countrysides for a country that you can cross within 4 hours lol. We are known for our mountains, but as you said, the southern area in Switzerland right at the boarder of italy is super nice! If you need any recommendations, feel free to ask!
