They're both mental. You got ND people talking about how Wisconsin is great because of the conference they play in, yet forget Wisconsin finished 135th in total offense and 134th in scoring offense, and ND was in a fist fight for 2 qtrs with them.

They would have been in a fistfight for 4 quarters if the refs would have had the guts to call back the fumble recovery (foot was clearly out of bounds before clean recovery), and the pick 6. They were gift wrapped 14 points. Thats more than enough to swing basically any game, especially when you’re overmatched talent-wise. Though I’m not sure how wide the talent gap really was. I don’t think Wisconsin improved that much. I think ND just took that much of a step back offensively. No Love and Price to keep defenses loading the box which made CJ Carr look way better than he was.
 
They played Texas, Washington, PSU, Michigan, and Indiana last year before the playoffs. LOL
 
I guess this is their new narrative since no one believed after last year’s *** whooping that they would’ve beat us nine out of 10 times like they said afterwards

So I know he's a great football player and many lament that he went to Ohio St, but the more I hear this guy talk the more I think he'd be a terrible culture fit at Miami.

I actually hope they beat Texas, I'm just so sick of hearing about Manning and sark. Everyone in the media sucking off Texas when they have literally nothing to show. Manning looked unimpressive week one, they had three losses last year, yet they're still the golden child, it's annoying.

I am treating this as a no-lose situation because I will take great joy in seeing either team lose. Unfortunately, someone has to win so I'm rooting for Texas, but I want it to be ugly

Fair enough. My hope was that Texas would **** down its leg in conference play. But I suppose that feeds the "SEC STRONG" narrative as the team knocking off #1 goes on to get popped by some rando in the SEC.
