This is the entire game in a nutshell. We had them on the ropes, feeling all Michael Spinks while we were Mike Tyson in his prime. Just as the knockout blow was being delivered, the ref stepped in and allowed life to flow.

Thread 'Did Beck Get Hurt at USF?'

We can all agree that Beck was off last night. Sick? Flu? Hurt? The weather (GTFOH)? I don't know. But I kept coming back to his last run at 7:55 in the fourth quarter vs USF where he got popped pretty dam hard in the right shoulder. at that time, he gave no indication that he might have gotten hurt. But did he? I don't know, but he was WAY WAY off last night. Thoughts?

we were running off tackle to the right quite a bit, so it has gotten better. i have ZERO complaints about our run game

I don’t have complaints about the running game production, I’d just like us to take advantage of the opportunities people crashing it creates.

I know we’re in this age of revisionist history, but our former DC, Lance Guidry? Yeah, he was Lance Guidry da Gawd from 2023 - 9/21/2024. Our Def was actually elite from 08/31-09/21/2024.
Our defensive rankings after 4 games last yr:
•Total Def: 10th
•Sacks: T-1st
•TFLs: 8th
•Rushing Def: 6th
•Passing Def: 35th
•Passing Efficiency Def: 12th
•Scoring Defense: 11th
•3rd Down Def: 8th
•Turnovers: 15th

We had an electric offense (2nd), & an elite defense (10th) after 4 games in 2024. U guys forget this, but I keep telling u: I remember it all. So no, after 4 games am I going to tell u it feels different. The only thing that feels different is the offense, & this offenses’ ability to keep teams in games is concerning. Now if after 10/4 we contain a high octane while dominating the L.O.S, I’ll tell u at that moment it’s different.

Some times I bump my own ****, not to be an *******, but to help this board understand that not only am I real fan or analytical guy, but I fr, fr know ball. I’m not cynical vs. realistic.
