was wake more physical than miami? ****ert thinks so

Who gives a ****. Who won the **** game. If we don't have the injuries we probably hang 50 on them. You see the **** I did with that hypothetical bullish. Two can play that hypo game coach jackarse.

I actually think Wake's coach gave Miami a lot more credit than some people are giving him credit for.

He saying Wake was more physical in the second half, but he also gave Miami props for what they did to Wake. That's not the same thing as saying Wake was the more physical team for the entire game.

Miami went up 31-7 before Wake really got going. Wake's coach basically said they executed better in the second half, tackled better and took advantage of Miami's injuries and inexperience, particularly along the OL and in the secondary. He’s not wrong.

Also after being in a game with a giant and losing they were still able to come out the following week and beat ranked Louisville team. When many teams would’ve folded.

He’s just building his team’s morale after a battle.
If you watch that you can tell it was clipped to generate maximum rage

This is what we need to work on getting to next.. giving these dudes hope make these coaches feel themselves too much

This is where the 1-0 mentality is incomplete. Winning is obviously the #1 goal, but there needs to be wailing and nashing of teeth from the opposing fanbase whenever possible. In a beauty contest, style points matter.

I was at Wake. That stadium was not full at the beginning of the 4th. LOTS of fans gave up hope and walked out. Had that been played on grass, Brown isn't likely done for the year, Mali, Fletcher, maybe Moore, are playing full go into the 4th with the score getting uglier.

Sounds like a coach that’s trying to pump up his team to make them feel better about getting an L put on them…

Nothing says physical like getting out rushed 22-158
Stats tell lies if you don't see them with context. Them blowing up our tight ends and receivers is just as much of a sign as rushing yards. 68 yards or whatever it was in the second half is the only stat he needs to throw at us to back up what he's saying. We called screens almost entirely that went nowhere an entire half. We can't discount any of that. We just gotta hope we learned from ****. Cause a good team stomps us if we show up like that

Pretty much. The second half was a problem.

People don't wanna accept reality. I get it, most of that was entirely on us. Our mental approach with the lead and play calling. But if someone punches you in your **** do you say tighten up, let's fight or do you just say hit me again, and again? That second half without question they were the more physical team. First half we were.

Agreed. It was bad. The going got rough and we did not react well. Couldn't put together 1 drive on offense to put the nail in the coffin. Too much talent to fold like that. Need to learn from it and grow for a game like tonight.
