Was Pete black balled?

Sounds exactly like her. Holy ****, she died that young? Sad, shouldn't ever happen, but it does. Last name Martin? I've come across so many names I get them mixed up a lot so that more than likely isn't it. Considered moving back to the area briefly and knew she was a good contact.

Did they reopen the Crobar then in a different venue? Heck, maybe they were just redoing it. Either way, it was for a magazine shoot and I came to town to shoor it, she told me to get a hold of her, etc. I never did, left that business behind a few months later to focus on other things. Was a fun time in my life as we'd show up anywhere, get in immediately, had a name in that scene, with an entourage of what people said were beautiful people. Knew every DJ almost worldwide. Crazy how much coin some of them are bringing in these days.
The bread they getting now because of Vegas and because of the livs of the world is crazy. If they headline a festival crazy bread. I always kid around since I'm in the music business now that I should've stuck to straight music and left football alone. Lord knows my later years would be alot better off for it. Football has blessed me in ways as a kid I never would've expected out of my life. God really is good. But people don't fully grasp the toll it takes on us mentally and physically. Junior is a perfect example. He really was a beautiful person. His own body betrayed him at the end of the day to where before he killed himself he couldn't even wipe his own *** anymore... As a man who's used to peak physical dominance it's hard to cope with. That doesn't even take into account what happens to your mind. Alot of people wanted me to play longer. I said at the end of the day I have to live with myself. Not anyone else. I just went on a rant again didn't I...

Rants are good, at least that's what I'm rolling with.

Yes, I remember as a kid how I never understood players missing games due to sore this, pulled that, etc. You get older and you might not have an injury, but your body is beat to **** where even moving is painful. You're not game ready, but you go out there anyhow.

Mentally, when it all starts to slow down, it was crazy to me. Your mind knows where you need to go and do, but your body can't keep up. Frustrating man, it sucks. It's weird coaching my young ones, because I'm stubborn as ****, no quit, and will try to show them some things and really shouldn't.

Age really smacked me in the face when I pulled a groin muscle playing kickball. Played through college, no torn or pulled anything. First pulled muscle or tear, didn't get it looked at as I'm supposed to be some badass, 10 years later playing kickball because some fine *** woman asked me to play. The fugg? Nobody knew it either, kept on right through it. Wasn't going to tell her that happened, but man....seemed it would never go away.

Rant off.

Oh, and Junior, sad. Lucky to have my head in one piece and no lasting injuries I deal with day to day. Shoulder can bug me here and there, but that's usually because a kid wants to launch himself at me or playing catch with them. No real complaints.

Yeah. U ain't never lied. That's when I knew it was time to retire. Just too hard to fight back come Sunday night and I ALWAYS hated that **** cold tub which is critical to recovery. Not to mention the concussions pile up that people rarely here about. As many as espn reported I had atleast 4 times that many. I had a headache for atleast 2 years straight at one point. I know what you mean about coaching. Between helping out my nephew and his homeboys with lil **** or clinics always asking for pointers I just got to where I flat out tell kids there's only so much you in today's game which is designed for safety you wanna take from us old heads. Cause how we were raised was just all about splittin heads and Makin plays. Worry about the rest later. Only one I ever saw even when I was a lil lil jit who took that stuff serious was don bebe. Who the fvck wanted to look like that bug *** white dude... Lol. If only I woulda known that before.

Smh. Nah it's not actually. I ain't talking about lyin. Lyin is what they do. What most agents won't do is waste their time on kids who they don't KNOW gonna make them some money. Kids that are gonna be 6th 7th round at best have agents as a technicality. They get someone that's one of the boys basically. No firm is gonna pick up those kids cause they make pennies off of them and it's all about maximizing they time with compensation.
Exactly

Those car and jewelry guys are all LLC businesses so even if you were to try and go after them one day, they just close up shop and there's no way to get a dime back. The agents and them made off with your money with their inflated bills. It's a **** racket, been going on for a long *** time. Biggest heists of all time were Tyson and Holyfield. Holy **** those guys got took, Holyfield to the point where all he's got is a condo.
You're right on that too. I went to school with one of his sons and have been there. Not much considering what he had before. I'm pretty sure they used to live in country club of the south, now he's in a condo downtown. Isn't even right how they did him.

If I’m not mistaken, Pete’s original source was Deon Bush at Columbus. ( They went to school together ) . Everyone thought he was an insider and it morphed from there.

What a piece of ****.
Untamed Cane lol. Bush wasn’t a source he just told Pete he was going to Miami in class so Pete broke the story when many though deon was going to Bama. That’s where his cred came from
