Was Brad kaaya holding us back?

I’ll never understand the **** Kaaya gets on CIS. He was never gonna be a 5 star savior. Richt put him in a horrible spot with his antiquated ZR offense behind a horrible OL and well...Golden. That being said he balled out against FSU but his team let him down and was pretty good overall. If he had played with the early 2000 teams results would’ve been similar.

Ah the team let him down against FSU under Golden so you give him the blame for throwing that horrific INT in 2016 right?

Kaaya never won a game where he was trailing at half or down in the 2nd half

Rosier did it in his first ever start when Kaaya was out with a concussion

Wait that’s your point? A badly thrown ball at the very beginning of the second half? But of course you don’t mention the dime TD throw on 4th down to potentially tie the game. Should he have kicked the Xtra point? No mention of our run game was completely shut down. No mention of Dalvin killing our defense once again?
This is typical of Kaaya haters and morons on CIS. Pick one play in a vacuum. Was that throw bad? Yes. Is it he the reason we lost? Not even close. Did he walk off the field having led his team back to tie the game. Yes.

We had 1 score the entire second half and tHAT came last two minutes, want to defend rest of the 2nd half up to that point ?

He was 5/10 in the second half with two sacks, guy should’ve thanked Berrios for his punt return to get him into the red zone because he wasn’t getting anywhere near the red zone on his own

Defense held FSU to 20 points

go away

Dummies argue like this. No mention of the non out existent run game - 30 rushes for 60 yards. A defense that couldn’t tackle Dalvin. The OL was horrific. Richt was still calling plays. I get it, you hate Kaaya. But that’s on you and your expectations of him. He was never gonna be Bernie.

Defense held them to 20 stop blabbing about Cook

Game ended in a one score loss but want to disregard an INT in the red zone

And you want to boil the game down to one play which tells me that you don’t understand football.

13-3 in the red zone with a chance to go up 20-3 or worst case 16-3 after your defense holds FSU to a 3 and out and you throw an INT

Clearly you don’t know football because we see week in and week out how only one play can turn a game but defending Kaaya who never lead a comeback his entire college career

Now go away

This is confusing, idk if it’s a troll or what. Apparently this is the dude who snuck into USC and practiced with the team. He’s sitting beside what looks to be Brad Kaaya.

Mannnnn....you know Russell Westbrook is welcome at SC. Undergrad was at UCLA and Masters was at SC.

Good QB.... type of dude who comes in and can keep things cruising if this was a 10win a season type of cruise control program (like it should be)

he was no savior and never was gonna be one but he was a good QB who could have won some January bowl games and done better than what he did....

Its very simple. Kaaya was a very polished QB w great mechanics and no killer instinct or 'x-factor' playmaking ability. The Miami teams had too many deficiencies for a guy like him to be successful.

One play at the beginning of the 3rd qtr? A momentum change yes. But should a team melt when momentum changes at the beginning of the 3rd qtr? That would say more about the HC, not the qb. Again, you fail to mention all the other factors that lost us that game. Including a missed XP. And quit saying “go away”, you sound like a 13 year old girl

Do you think kaaya was holding the offense back that richt wanted to run?

Kaaya had his flaws but no. It was the other way around. It was Richt that held Kaaya back. He wanted to install an offense that negated most of the abilities that Kaaya brought to the table. Square peg, round hole. Rinse and repeat. That was the story in Coral Gables for the better part of 2 decades. It's not that complicated.

"Never led a comeback"?

The F$U game was a comeback, all the **** kicker has to do is hit the extra point.
