I was screaming at the TV but directing my yelling to Dawson. Fletcher clearly was on a mission. Like you say, "Cute" plays. They didn't work.
And those ******* screens were not working either.
We were winning the LOS and that's where they should have been punching at. Fletcher between the tackles, baby. That's where it's at.

I think he can get back in a good mindset. The first kick was 100% affected by the wind. #2 was just a really bad kick. #3 he tried to adjust to a wind that calmed when he kicked it.
 
40mph winds..other than the deep shot, didn't throw it downfield, even intermediate, hardly at all.

Have we become too Mali-centric, especially for playoff opponents?

Can outside receivers separate against Ohio St. db's?

Can OL protect v Bucks?

If tendencies (run & Mali) are taken away, can Beck deliver?
 
I know the wind was rough but Beck was inaccurate on a lot of the short throws as well

He just didn’t play well in the conditions it was almost like watching Davis kicking the ball

Seemed like it was in his head a bit
 
What were the alternatives, and at what cost? What is the actual value to this program of reaching the playoffs and winning a game?

How can you quantify ROI other than getting into playoffs and winning games there? He's done that.
 
Dawson has a playbook when playing good teams. We've seen it for his entire run here. He likes to run the ball and he likes to throw screens. He rarely takes shots down field.
