You and I having an opinion of that group based and its members past behavior is not racist. I was doing a couple of things at the same time I was writing in this thread. So apologies for my word salad. Also, I appreciate you taking the time to read and respond.
Sorry I put you through that mumbo-jumbo.
In a nutshell, I don't think one has to wield power to be a racist.
I've known plenty of people over the years who were not rich nor powerful.
In fact, they were in a minority group due to skin color, religion, etc and they were, in my estimation, bigoted mfers.
In many ways I was glad they had no control over anything.
I also think people have a right to associate with whomever they want to be that neighborhoods, schools, etc as long as they are not breaking laws or hurting people.

I some way I almost hope its CTE because if it is not, then Sapp maybe the biggest loser on earth, or vying for that title. At least if it’s CTE, it is a disease, albeit a debilitating and fatal one.

I understand your point. However that sentiment is an absolute - tie goes to citizen. There is a mountain of nuance in each situation. My point was the juice wasn’t worth the squeeze by either side. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I think you should look up the definition of the word racist, then you would understand in this context you used it incorrectly. Since you brought up Sapp using his Blackness as an excuse to be racist understand that Warren Sapp holds no systemic authority over any Asian person to stop them from doing a **** thing.

If you want to see an example of racism look how people of a certain Race can use the political system to limit Black people from voting. That is racist. What Warren Sapp said was ignorant.

All of this is exactly why Sapp being black should've never been brought up to begin with. Jerks come in all shades. There's no need to highlight particular shades when something comes up simply because we've got an old bone to pick.

Well I'd just say those people doing those type of audits of the police/government institutions serve as a useful check/balance to the government power. So yes I do think it's an absolute tie goes to the citizen in the general sense. Obviously case by case and all that...

And yes most of the time they're all ********/annoying. But net result is good for us imo

I can’t stand that MF’er. He makes me think of the Chris Rock line “cause we hate Black people too”. CTE isn’t an excuse, he’s always been a complete landfill of a person. Great, great player, but a seemingly terrible human being.
