He is ok but we have others on the board who are better imo... Shavar Manuel, Patrick bethel, Brian burns, our commit jackson,

Very impressed. Looks explosive, has very nice size (listed at 6'3 1/2", 230 pounds), teammates with a current commit, and brings violence.

We missed on Key, S. Johnson, A. Robinson, and every late edge-rushing target this past recruiting cycle. If we're fortunate enough to be in a position where we could add Jackson, Bethel, Burns, and Bailey, then you jump all over that. Stack chips. Kid is easily UM caliber.

He plays LB too.

I agree he looks like an DE/LB .... I would take him with Bethel, Burns, and Jackson
It's only so many players you can have at the spot. We already are stacked at dend... Over recruiting that spot imo...

I don't think we're stacked... We need better players then what we have now. this class we need to load up on D

You can never have too many pass rushers.

Yes but these kids want to play. They don't want to sit on the bench for 2-3 years

Our linebacker spots are filled with quarteman, Pinckney, mccloud..... We don't need another one...

We should take one more pure linebacker. And even if we don't take anymore, gotta keep recruiting them. Who knows what's going to happen? All 3 of these current kids could end up elsewhere for all we know. I doubt it, but it could happen.

This kid looks nice, and as pointed out, is probably more of a Tyriq McCod than a Shaq Quarterman.

The ideal 4th linebacker in this class is Donovan Thompson.

Boom to this. That's how elite programs stay elite. Never can have too many of these guys. Esp with the scheme we run.

Watched like two minutes, sold. Bring him in, figure it out later.

got a feeling SHAQS dad is the one behind all these kids on the defensive side of the ball this staff is getting on first before they blow up, because theres no way this dead beat staff is finding these kids on their own.

Honestly I don't think this staff is bad at finding talent. We've gotten on quite a few kids early on only to watch them blow up. They find an inability to recognize needed philosophy changes at certain key positions. Cornerback, for instance. They recruit kids whom, in theory, fit well with the way they deploy their defense. However, it is at the cost of guys like Fenton and Hoggins.

One position they are great at evaluating is the linebacker/edge rusher position. They got on Eddie Johnson when no one knew who he was. Gionni Paul was a nice talent. Gabe Terry. Figs. Young was a nice find. D-Jax before anybody was really on him. Even Armbrister was a pretty good find.

They should still be fired in to the sun for innumerable other reasons, but let's call a spade a spade.
