They are at home. The QB can't read a defense. The offense is slow. They seems to not want to use guys with speed. At this point I think God hates Miami hurricanes football. I mean one decent coach in 15 years and that coach had one foot out the door. The rest are 🗑️. Mario is 🗑️. He is a glorified recruiter that's it. Tvd is 🗑️. His decision making is 🗑️. Anyone who thinks otherwise is living in a fantasy world. I really like the talent on this team. But Mario's decision making and tvd performances are gonna cost us. It already has cost us.

So you just keep throwing him out there hoping he doesn't **** up. What kinda sense does that make. If he is hurt sit him if he is underperforming sit him. Either way you can't keep playing him if this is what you get. They should've gotten a QB in the portal.

Ya'll can make fun of Mario and us going back to the bro-style (out of necessity I think), but it's because of the running game and the changes he's made to the o-line that we've been able to survive the last two weeks without a QB

This team is way more physically and mentally tougher up front than years past
 
I've been very harsh on Mario (as deserved for last season and GT this year) but he's managed the situation as best as he can. TVD must be so hard to deal with in this current iteration.

They are a knee away from 7-1. They have done this with a qb who can not complete a pass vs zone coverage and a total lack of depth combined with a lot of injuries. I think the trend is positive.
 
We really do have the worst "fans" in CFB.

This board was celebrating the offense after A&M. Its the same offense OP. Whats changed is we have a hurt QB running it now

If he is hurt so bad that he plays like 2 ints and got lucky didn't get 2 more, then sit him again. Injury isn't an excuse. Plus my critics of him have been the same over the years. He doesn't make good reads or check outs, he locks in.

The O line has covered for him a ton this year, but he isn't fooling safeties when he locks in on his first read and doesn't check out of them. That has nothing to do with injury, that has to do between the ears.

I personally don't wish him any ill will. Him having a different OC every year and learning a new offense isn't something that is easy. But being objective about him isn't a personal attack. It's facts. INTs don't lie, especially when almost every one of them are not WRs running bad routes, OL providing good protection, etc. He has earned almost every INT he has gotten. That isn't a personal attack, that is a fact.

If a if was a fifth we would all be drunk. I believe in the eye test. Other than am we have looked average to below average offensively against our P5 opponents. If you think this trend of winning like you just saw will continue then let me get some of whatever you are on.

This team can win every game on the schedule left playing like this except FSU. We need to be the A&M version of the canes to take down the Noles. Everyone had this team as an 8 win team in the preseason and we look like we will meet or exceed that.

I don’t think this is a great canes teams but I see things happening that I am enthusiastic about.

There’s some separation out thrre mane, but our QB don’t seem to know how read coverages. TVD just locks in on a WR and seemingly refuses to come off his primary read…. and sometimes forcing the ball to the 1st guy. Defenders be damned.
