Ward QBR after Week 2

“He needs to improve his decision making”

No. No he really doesn’t.

The same guy that threw the INT is the same guy that threw the TD to George.

Stay just the way you are, Cam.

In that moment and up to now, I have felt like he only threw that interception out of sheer over confidence because of how badly he knew the Gators were from the first snap. It's like poker, sometimes the winning strategy is to play over aggressive, especially when the opponent sucks. Doesn't mean you'll never lose a hand, but even taking those losses into account you're going to rack up way more chips.

Yeah in all honesty I’m kinda ******* around but also kinda serious

Im sure Cam would be the first person to say he needs to work on making better decisions. But that’s also kinda vanilla QB and coach speak

With what he can do, I’ll take the bad with the good as long as he just stays who he is

We are so fortunate to have this dude here lol I know we are paying an absolute premium but just to have the feeling of complete competence at that position paired with his ability to galvanize his teammates. The whole vibe is different with this team and yes they are mostly now ‘Mario guys’ but we’ve seen how tough it is down here since 2002 to get any semblance of a confident and prepared team.

I was told by the brilliant minds of FSU fans on Reddit that Cam could be the 4th best qb in Florida this year, partially because of his QBR. Weird.

That’s how I do @Dr.L.ThugU on the poker table. He’s weak, scared, timid, indecisive. I take all his monies.

All I know is that Cam came here, betting on himself to lift Miami to the next level and going higher in the draft than he was initially projected to. If he continues on this trajectory, I can easily see him in the first two rounds.

I think I saw his pro comp being Brock Purdy. Purdy was Mr. Irrelevant, but maybe the teams leanred their lesson?

His confidence is who he is, gunslinger mentality with a good sprinkling of SWAG and a whole lot of talent. Oh and he’s the hardest worker as well, boys this cat is special.
Yeah arm talent was never a question. I was in awe of some of his throws last year

But once I heard him speak and started to see how he gets himself and the team prepared I started to feel some weird things about this teams potential

He had the throw too. It's not like he George wasn't open. If I gave Cam 10 more tries, he probably hits that 6 times. And I'm good with that

He’s the type of QB that drives opposing DC’s absolutely nuts because they can have the perfect coverage for the call and still end up giving up the big play. It’s a weird (but awesome) feeling seeing that player wearing a Miami uniform for once.
