Kind of agree tbh.

Would be embarrassing not to go 9-3 or better. Big 12 is pretty **** poor this year. Single-digit dogs at Alabama with the much better QB. Favored against everyone else on their schedule.

I’d argue their roster is not only the most talented in the state, but top five nationally. Furthermore, in a year where the recent Big 3 (Bama, UGA, Ohio St) are all undergoing QB transitions, Texas possesses a top five QB in the country (and the most talented QB room in the country at that, with Murphy ready to step in). Worthy is a top 10 receiver and Sanders a top five TE. Even with the loss of Bijan, their offense has all the tools to be extremely potent and efficient.

Bama should have a really strong secondary but so much on offense is a question mark. Texas proved they could hang last year with a backup QB facing Bryce Young and guys like Gibbs out of the backfield. If they beat Bama, the Texas hype train will be on full overload. Add in the fact that the Big 12 has some really down teams this year (Ok St and TCU for example), and the path sets up very nicely for them.

Their schedule gets tricky late with a KSt, TCU and road trip to Ames, but still…it would be a failure to not win 9 this year. Honestly, those boosters should be expecting a conference championship.

Definitely agree considering they've poured so much 💸💲💰into football, forever. I think Us and USC are close, but we're just starting to get in the $$$ game relatively speaking.

Yep, and they have bought more of a team like Alabaga and OTU

Am I missing something? Don't we go through this **** every year with Texas? What is it this year that they have in their super-secret utility belt that is going to aww, shock and amaze the college football world into a mythical championship? 8-4. 9-3 or 10-2 would be a magical run.
