Walton averages 2.75 YPC against teams not named Bethune

MAYBE JUST MAYBE IF WE WENT BACK TO RUNNING THE BALL OUT OF THE I FORMATION WITH A LEAD BLOCKER AND TWO TIGHTENDS WE COULD ACTUALLY RUN THE **** BALL.
Bu bu bu bu but the spread is what we should be running with the athletes in today's age......Bu bu but kaaya is only comfortable from the gun

The running backs are not the problem, its coley's one-dimensional spread passing offense. They have no running game and don't even try to establish one. They come out passing from the first series. To i-formation, Tight ends in the slot. It's sad to watch.

Walton does seem to run into a lot more traffic than Yearby , but against FSU they both looked like ***'s..By the way---Dalvin just scored again..What a difference between our O-line, defensive scheme and FSU's

at least give the running game a fighting chance, you can still throw out of this formation by audibling if they stack the box. Herndon will be a mismatch for linebackers, get Tucker and Yearby in the game, Stacey and Scott on the wings

He shouldn't be on kickoffs. He's our 2nd string RB. We have no depth there. God forbid he gets hurt on a return. Plus, he's not a great fit for that role. Would rather see Elder and Coley or Berrios back there.

Unless you're Barry Sanders you can't run behind a bad OL

Listen, I know Walton gets a lot of love here, but let's be real: The guy is a marginal RB toating the rock, and he is averageon KO's. He is good in pass protection and he catches the ball out of the backfield, but he's basically giving you nothing..zero..zilch.. running between the tackles. Facts are, he is giving 2.75 YPC and a cloud of dust against teams not named Bethune Cookman, and he doesn't have elite vision, cutback ability of quickness.

Why not see what Gray can do? We KNOW he is dynamic, explosive player with the ball in is hands. Get the talent in the games!

Walton and Yearby need to run behind a FB. Walton is a stud.

**** who was our last full back Pat Hill?

Our O-Line is soft. Yearby gets yards because all it takes is for them to get a hat on SOMEBODY and Yearby will make someone miss to spring the run.

Walton is more of a downhill runner in the mold of EJ or Gore (after surgeries) and he needs the line to get some push.

It's the most crushing thing to say...but we are not a physical football team. It's not an unenjoyable experience to play us. There's no concern on the other side of the field. No second thoughts about safety or well being. Good teams inspire that level at least a smidge of worry. "Sheesh, I might could get hit hard or even worse" That ain't there with these boys man.

you know you're right and its primarily because of the finesse style of offense which were running. Lineman are being taught to hold their blocks and pass protect, even during run plays because they are draws you have to sell it as a pass first to hold the Dline. they have no aggression towards running plays, no guards pulling, no traps, takes too long to develop when your running back is 7-10 yards behind the line of scrimmage.

Not even the great Samson Doyo could run behind this line.

For those that do not recall, Doyo averaged 18.3 yards per carry until he was bitten by DJ Williams' dog which ended his career.

Sometimes it's tough when you get hit it in the backfield by your own OL getting blown up
