Yes. Let's return to the glory days of the ****er-T.
Bu bu bu bu but the spread is what we should be running with the athletes in today's age......Bu bu but kaaya is only comfortable from the gunMAYBE JUST MAYBE IF WE WENT BACK TO RUNNING THE BALL OUT OF THE I FORMATION WITH A LEAD BLOCKER AND TWO TIGHTENDS WE COULD ACTUALLY RUN THE **** BALL.
Listen, I know Walton gets a lot of love here, but let's be real: The guy is a marginal RB toating the rock, and he is averageon KO's. He is good in pass protection and he catches the ball out of the backfield, but he's basically giving you nothing..zero..zilch.. running between the tackles. Facts are, he is giving 2.75 YPC and a cloud of dust against teams not named Bethune Cookman, and he doesn't have elite vision, cutback ability of quickness.
Why not see what Gray can do? We KNOW he is dynamic, explosive player with the ball in is hands. Get the talent in the games!
Walton and Yearby need to run behind a FB. Walton is a stud.
If your name isn't Barry Sanders you can't run behind a bad OL
Our O-Line is soft. Yearby gets yards because all it takes is for them to get a hat on SOMEBODY and Yearby will make someone miss to spring the run.
Walton is more of a downhill runner in the mold of EJ or Gore (after surgeries) and he needs the line to get some push.
It's the most crushing thing to say...but we are not a physical football team. It's not an unenjoyable experience to play us. There's no concern on the other side of the field. No second thoughts about safety or well being. Good teams inspire that level at least a smidge of worry. "Sheesh, I might could get hit hard or even worse" That ain't there with these boys man.
