Walk with me

I'm not a track guy, so I pose this question to the many track guys on here:

How does hurdling translate for these bigger receivers? It's striking to me that there are two Top 5 pick talents this year with almost identical physical profiles.

You think Becker is top 5?

[Orig.CaneSawMassacre]

He hasn't been terrific playing LB for Garner HS this year...quiet so far

Well that part is interesting… we have tape available?

[Orig.CaneSawMassacre]

And when have we ever developed a Lb that is a pure athlete and has to grow in the other try Lb areas? Yeah… Idk how anyone can view this thread with anything but pessimism tbh

Calinative not to be rude but you tend to edge on the brink of pessimism lol

[skeeter]

Let’s hope Parris, wingo, and Evans make this a non-thing and develop a rangy, athletic backer

Probably is but the lack of noise locally here and being the 2nd most productive LB on his team is raising a few eyebrows. He looks the part but seems to lack that "seek & destroy" demeanor.

Yea I just watched the highlights. Eeesh…

For his athleticism the lack of force upon contact is alarming!

Just for the record..Im keeping notes..because I got a feeling there will be a common theme for those who think this is a good idea to those who thought Bryce Fitzgerald should start out at WR because he lacked physicality to play S/CB.

I want my best athletes on defense if I can help it. Thats just me though. Randle is a freak show. WRs come a dime a dozen. Freak shows at LB don't. JMO.

Guys like this are more likely to turn out like Nyckoles Harbor than Jeremiah Smith.

[Hold My Beer]

Any chance he can defend Hail Mary’s for us this year?

I honestly have no idea why we haven't put Mali back there in those situations.

He gonna get that football or nobody's gonna get it.

Every time.

Have you watched our games? They don't make mistakes? His interviews by his action seem to be coach speak. I will say dudes also gotta do there part and don't cause unnecessary friction. Life now is all about instant gratification. But if that's what you looking for then go to a school with zero questions in your way.

Of course they make mistakes, but they probably make FEWER mistakes than Wiley and Marcellin and Pruitt make. I don't think it was coach speak at all. I think our targeted linebacker recruits are great examples of that. Miami is getting passed on 62% of the time, you don't think Hetherman values linebackers who can cover? He is just working with what he has and plays Toure, and Smith because they are trustworthy.

I actually thought of the same guy when I saw the film.

This thread is a disaster

But 4 years from now the receipts will be gold

yes
