Don't know but XPs and chip shot FGs couldn't be counted on by our "starting" kicker so glad the walk on kid came through tonight.

You missed the point, no pun intended. And yea, we've been so bad we couldn't even rely on XPs and 25 yard FGs from our PK. So I'm glad we have someone on the roster that can make them. Not sure what the argument here is. And no I wouldn't be confident in this kid hitting anything beyond 30 in crunch time. But I wouldn't be confident in Baxa doing it either, so..

After missing short FGs routinely (< 30 yards) and then even PATs, something needed to change badly. Props to #47 for doing a solid job tonight. The kicking misses had cost us a couple of games already so it was a huge relief to see that we have a K that can make the short kicks.

His FG was not a gimme. On the right hash, near the cross bars. The window is considerably narrow because of the angle.
