Agree on him wanting no distractions. I was thinking about those back channel conversations last night as well. Given his connections, to Miami, the city and school, alonzo’s heightened involvement as of late, there must be a crazy amount of secret conversations going on. What am I missing here? At this point, what are the tangible and practical advantages to not firing Manny by Monday afternoon?

There were lots of "logical" arguments before the Noles game to not fire him, but at this point, what am I missing? As far as I can tell, there is literally NOTHING to be gained by not firing him.
