Yeah, monetary value is not only relevant with buy outs and such, but also with engaging, reassuring and keeping your fanbase. Are we sure money is saved waiting until the end of the season?

Don't wanna hurt Daddy's feelings
I believe the buyout drops early in January according to what’s been reportedAre we sure money is saved waiting until the end of the season?
You’re not missing anything. The thinking is probably that the season ends in two weeks anyways so why fire him now? They’ve probably got Galaxy brain at the Hecht and think if we fire him now we won’t get bowl eligibility and the chance to play in the Charmin Diarrhea Bowl. What am I missing here? At this point, what are the tangible and practical advantages to not firing Manny by Monday afternoon?
There were lots of "logical" arguments before the Noles game to not fire him, but at this point, what am I missing? As far as I can tell, there is literally NOTHING to be gained by not firing him.

mandy is a soft *****, cheerleading babysitter that has an ex-Miami mayor for a daddy .... EXACTLY what the Miami admin is happy with . savvy ?What am I missing here? At this point, what are the tangible and practical advantages to not firing Manny by Monday afternoon?

THIS RIGHT HEREI do find it interesting there is no smoke right now about firing. You would think some type of talk would be happening.
Very true statement. Especially the second sentence.admin should announce he's not coming back asap. don't really care if they let him coach the last 2 games. it's unfair to the kids who are busting their butts out there. puts them in the position of thinking they can save manny's job by winning out, then feeling terrible when they lose on account of manny being manny. ill cite the end of the fsu game as evidence
Not speaking about you personally, but generally we are concerned about reassuring a fanbase that largely does not go to the games or donate money to the program?Yeah, monetary value is not only relevant with buy outs and such, but also with engaging, reassuring and keeping your fanbase.
That's one of the most concerning things. I was hoping to wake up this morning to plenty of chatter about him and Blake being fired. This is so beyond ridiculous.
Sorry, but their ticket revenue will plummet if Manny stays.
Supposedly they and power brokers are scheduled to meet on 11/18. Would expect something shortly after. That is my best guess.
Agreed! I wanted him gone after this game, but at 2-4 is when the school should've let him go.
Theatrics perhaps. But that is all it is. What makes you think that influences anything other than public perception? Money will be the bottom line for these BOT members who are largely successful business people and they know that right now maintaining the status quo is a losing financial proposition. And just how many calls before 11/18 to members of the BOT by Manny Sr do you expect?? This may be my imagination, maybe not. I don’t trust politicians. Perhaps, Manny Sr was truly on the sidelines yesterday just to watch his son. Or maybe it was all theater…dressed in UM gear from head to toe, right behind his son in camera’s view to show the world just how much the Diaz’s love UM all before an all important meeting is to happen.
He’s done they’ll let us know soon.I do find it interesting there is no smoke right now about firing. You would think some type of talk would be happening.
What dumb **** negotiated that on behalf if miami. I wonder who it was....I believe the buyout drops early in January according to what’s been reported
