We gotta figure something out at LB and OL. It might hurt feelings with older guys but Wiley , Pruitt , Bonner and Marcelin need more time. Toure is a glorified blitzer.
We could even move Toure to DE like he was used a lot at Rutgers. Spare Lightfoot, Blount, Wilson some snaps.

Brown was ahead of him. But Brown was healthier at the time. Obviously, this is a recurring problem.
He’s a problem. Also, second game he’s blown up Mali on punt return.

He had Toney open for 1st downs on two of 3rd downs though (the one he panicked in the pocket and pushed the pass to Fletcher, and the second deep ball to Lofton), and he had Moore open for a first on the first deep ball to Lofton.

I thought Dawson put the game in Mensah's hands and he struggled for the first time this year. I would have just handed the ball to Fletcher until we scored a knockout TD. We had 3 drives up 2-3 scores before Fletcher got hurt.
fletcher was hurt too

@DMoney

The issues on the IOL are honestly my biggest concerns . I remember you saying during camp that Wilkerson had done well . Any chance they give him a look at guard ?

I agree 100%. I think we need to shoot for strong portal hauls every year while settling for HS recruiting classes in the 10-15 range. That might be the formula

fletcher was hurt too
He was available for the first four series of the second half. Are you saying he got hurt earlier, played through it, then we put him on ice for the rest of the game?

My thing is how do you say it “had to look a certain way” then have someone like SJ out there…

If he was a stump who was a technician and didn’t move and had great technique I could see it

But he’s getting bullied, beat with speed, flat out doesn’t read stunts right. Why the F is he out there? Put someone like Cantwell, cogdon, or hawk in there who at least can anchor and do ANYTHING to resemble protection

Damari has spent his career here "looking injured".
At a certain point when assessing a player who’s been injured, you gotta just say “he is what he is”. That’s what DB is - lumbering guy who is vulnerable against the pass.

Mario should have went for it. There was a lot f bad coaching last night.

Not using a TO at the end of the 1st half. Dawson going pistol with Fletcher in the redzone.

Not going for it and deciding for a 54yd FG.

Just bad all around
Why in THE **** are we not putting Mensah up under center at times-

Especially on punt coverage he’s getting Mali killed by himself

Embarrassing special teams is 98% effort and give a ****
This is absolutely crazy. Clueless to what’s going on & repeatedly almost takes out our franchise player. Once was bad enough, then repeats the same boneheaded nonsense.

A lot of us were over emphasizing the wins earlier and a lot of us are now doing it after game 3. We're not as good as the first 2 games showed and don't think we're as bad as we showed in the 2nd half last night. Team just has to continue getting better. Lots of ball still to be played. The trick is to figure things out and hit our stride towards end of the season. I've still got faith in this team and staff to get it done. GO CANES!!!

Exactly.

Wisconsin won 4 games last year. Wake won 9 games last year.

But, yeah, CIS porsters are going to overreact, no matter what kind of logical counterargument sane people provide.
What an idiot. Wisconsin played Ohio State, Oregon, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Washington, and Bama.
