Wait..Golden a DC candidate at BC?? lol

Golden is a really good recruiter but the trade off is to huge for my taste. I would not mind a top 30 defense for what Al would bring recruiting wise.

But as we saw with Golden's scheme you will be looking at between 70 and 105 in defense. Not a good trade off.

Golden is not a good recruiter. I wish people would stop saying this dumb ****.

Our team is full of 4 and 5 stars but he simply could not coach them

Golden Defensive line was a beast and he still could not get sacks:RK5I6FxwJLgEV5J6.jp

DE - Chad Thomas- 5 star
DE - Chick - 5 Star
DE\DT Jalen Grimble 5 Star
DE - AQM - 4 Star
DE - McCord - 4 Star
DE - Trent Harris 4 Star
DE - J Hamilton - 4 Star

Hey, look at it from this perspective: do we not have to play BC every so often ? Then what could
be better than going up a Golden defense !!!!!

Al Golden is probably the biggest name candidate on the coaching market right now, which makes him someone Boston College fans crave. It would be a big splash hire, a guy who would return to being a coordinator after a stint as a high profile head coach. For Eagle fans hoping for proof that Boston College is serious about contending, bringing in Golden would be that signal.

What's not to love about him?

This can't be a serious quote can it? If it is, wowzers.

It's from the first paragraph of the article linked by the OP

BC? We talkin Bethune Cookman, right?

Hahahahahahahahahaha! Please let this happen. It'll be a small dose of revenge for Hail Flutie.

Yeah so how in the 4uck can this man keep getting jobs??!?!

"Got beat from top to bottom," Golden said. "They outplayed us. They outcoached us. I just told the team it's completely my responsibility for not getting them ready to play. They just beat us soundly in every facet of the game, period."

Man it must be great to be White! Only way this miserable failure would be considered for anything. His freaking wife probably won't renew their vows.

C'mon. The exact same thing will happen in about another year with Al's black brother, James Franklin. It's more about being a car salesman than race.
