Easiest overall Power 5 schedule
i
Justin Fuente could use a big season, and Virginia Tech's schedule looks like it just might cooperate. The only game against an opponent ranked in ESPN's latest preseason rankings comes on the road against Notre Dame on Nov. 2, but the Hokies have an open date the week before playing the Irish. Moreover, they won't have to leave the state of Virginia for five of their last seven games. And, oh yeah, they avoid Clemson, NC State and Syracuse from the ACC's Atlantic Division during the regular season. After winning just six games a year ago, Virginia Tech's pathway to double-digit wins in 2019 doesn't look all that unrealistic.

Looks like we need to win all our ACC games...

They’re going to be absolute garbage. Nothing to worry about there

There is exactly one thing that can accurately predicted about the Coastal this year, and that's that there's no telling who will win it. Just like ever other year since its inception. Yeah, we should dominate this year like every other year. But like every other year, there's just no telling what will actually happen. VT winning the coastal is only 4% less likely than anyone else.

UVA will be a better team than VT, but I think VT is a bigger threat to win the coastal. The Hoos just can't beat the Hokies. They've lost 13 in a row, I believe. It's one of those streaks that just seems to hold up no matter what. So if Hokies win that game again, with their cream puff schedule it makes them a more concerning threat to me in the division. But like said above, let's just win our **** games and we don't have to worry about it. MUST beat VT again on 10/5!

Y'all are sleeping heavy on Foster...
One of the best d-coords in history, no doubt. That roster will have issues again this year though. Something is broken fundamentally right now in Blacksburg it seems. They've had a really strange off season.
