Their AD should be next. I watched the press conference and he got called out by a reporter basically saying he hired Tubberville at Cincinnati and Fuentes at VT that both failed so why will this hire be any different lol. He had some lame excuse about even some five stars don't pan out.

Don't see Freeze going there, he is waiting on another SEC team. I think they end up with a Chadwell, Napier type coach.
 
Patterson couldn’t recruit being located in the DFW. Good luck in the middle of nowhere in Blackburg, VA with a fraction of the talent.

I'm not referring to the speed of search after Blake got fired. I'm disgusted how long it took to fire James and getting the ball rolling. He was a dead man walking for too long without any moves by the university.

Yeah, I mean it seems to me Clawson could go a little higher. I mean, he should be on our interview list and he should be on some other lists as well. Of course, I think the number one guy they should go after would be Freeze, but if they could get Clawson, that would be a great get for them. He would definitely make them better. What the ceiling is there for him, I'm not sure.
 
I wasn't sure where to put this link but the Hokies are all in on the Canes hiring Lane Kiffin. They seem like reasonable fans who just want the ACC to be a stronger conference. I'm posting the link to the 247 thread for those who can read it; it's NOT VIP so if someone can copy and paste , it's a good read.
