Vols Tears

such a crazy situation. I heard some stuff on another podcast that interviewed a local writer. Apparently his family has a "compound" not far from campus and Nico used to stay there. He was somewhat of a loner - didn't have many close friends on the team.

Father and another relative acted as his agents.

Truly sounds like another Rashada situation in terms of parental involvement.

Next TN websites will be leaking he didn't have the receivers' phone numbers and he plays too much golf... we've seen it a million times...

Sounds a lot like Cam Ward's family's involvement in his career.

If I’m UTenn, not only do I not pay Nico, I throw his a** out along with that *** he calls his father. That’s what I would do. UTenn? They’ll pay him enough to keep him there because they’re in the SEC and they’re desperate. Georgia has beaten Tenn 8 times in a row and desperate hillbilly Tenn boosters have paid millions trying to become a big dog in the SEC again.

???????????????????????????

Sarcasm? Or are you truly angry? Hard to tell
We will see how it plays out for Nico. I like UT taking the hard line approach here. My sarcastic point was we always hear these types of shade thrown out against one side or the other.

Cam's dad was very overbearing and enabling Cam to make poor decisions at about the same age as Nico. Cam clearly grew a ton on and off the field and will be the #1 pick. Nico has time to improve in both parts, but that is up to him.

Remember Georgia fans and websites said our starting QB has a poor work ethic, etc. etc... we have even seen a few comments here...

Let's see if situation is a catalyst for any kind of change. Ironically, his NIL deal was one of the first 'big money' deals in the NIL era. Now, will this situation lead to changes in the NIL system overall?
Not til schools agree to make them employees

Will be interesting to see what dominos will fall.

Tenn already reaching out to kids and espn said one kid already got more money from their exisiting school.
Ironic thing is i think its possible Tenn collective will end up paying more to someone else.

Nico going back to west coast, right? one of the LA schools or Oregon/Washington?
