PLus- Vogel's punting.

Minus- Dan missing half the game. WTF man? We all know you don't have a social life.

Minus- Our coaches can still barely get out of the way and let our athletes do their thing. Can we quit with the conservative, run it into the pile, ****?
I listened to it on the radio. I screamed, "**** YEA," at the top of my lungs for Gus and Duke's TDs. I was fully erect.

IMHO Kaaya deserves a shout out too. This was not an easy environment to play in. He had **** numbers on the night, but twice delivered key 3rd down throws with a Hokie in his grill, and very wisely threw the ball away or clearly where the defender couldn't get near it a half dozen times. This was a secondary and pass rush that could have eaten him alive but the kid came out without making a single major mistake.

Kaaya was fantastic tonight. His accuracy was on point, which would be hilarious if you just looked at the stats. He was dialed in.

I honestly think, given the environment, this was his best game yet. Coley didn't want winning this game to rest on his shoulders. Coley had a great gameplan tonight.

Lots of pluses tonight. Most enjoyable game I've watched them do in a while. The coaches really do need to work on their clock management skills as well as getting the plays in quicker. But overall nothing to really complain about tonight.

I've never seen VT get run on like that. We shoved the ball up their asses like suppositories for 4 quarters. I honestly didn't think we were capable of that. Props to duke, kehoe, the Oline, everyone. Coley finally eliminated that God awful slow developing stretch play

Let's calm down a bit. Good win of course. On the road and tough environment. That was it though. VT is a bad football team. The only starter I'd take from them is Fuller. The rest are average at best.

Savor the win this weekend and let's get ready for The Cheaters.

We can do this!!

Not sure what game you were watching but the "run into the pile, ****" equated to 364 yards of rushing or 6.8 yards per carry. And they took shots in the passing game i.e. Dorsett's missed opportunity for a 98 yard touchdown. But yeah, lets not call running plays...

1. Even though Fentress was still in, and constantly sprinting 20 yards back on every play, our D actually played today. They actually made stops at/behind the line, and got some good pressure on VTech's QB. Still even when we stop them on 3rd and short (where Kirby got him behind the line) if you look at our allignment it is still trash due to cbs playing 8 yards off, and safety covering deep.
2. Has any team passed it into the center of the field deep? If not, I just do not get why we we have our safety sprinting back 20 yards each play, when it might stop 1 play per game. And get Fentress out and put in Jamal Carter.
3. Offense wasn't really good for the most part when Duke was out. BUT we did pass to Stacy Coley once past the line of scrimmage!!!(was like 2 yards past LOS). OL dominated this game. We should have had a 98 yard completion, but Dorsett was temporarily blind, because he was wide open, and definitely would not have been caught.
