I missed most of the first half but from what I saw...

Plus:

+ Duke Johnson: He's still running.

+ Gus Edwards: What a game.

+ The Offensive Line: We had what, 300 yards rushing?

+ Deon Bush: We needed a turnover and he got us one on the goal line.

+ Denzel Perryman: That hit to cause a fumble was great.


Minus:

- Not getting the shutout: Really wanted it.

- Golden leaving Johnson in so late: Jesus Christ

Nick Linder deserves an individual call out. Is their a soul on the planet who expected him to contribute like this so early in his career???

Agreed. Like the aggression from the oline as well.

A passing team will tear us up.
 
Minus - having them on the ropes and not delivering the kill shot, and, as a result, playing starters so **** late into the game.

I wasn't that impressed with him as a recruit, **** I was wrong that dude can ball, and he's only get better...I'm so happy he proved me wrong
 
IMHO Kaaya deserves a shout out too. This was not an easy environment to play in. He had **** numbers on the night, but twice delivered key 3rd down throws with a Hokie in his grill, and very wisely threw the ball away or clearly where the defender couldn't get near it a half dozen times. This was a secondary and pass rush that could have eaten him alive but the kid came out without making a single major mistake.

PLus- Vogel's punting.



Minus- Dan missing half the game. WTF man? We all know you don't have a social life.



Minus- Our coaches can still barely get out of the way and let our athletes do their thing. Can we quit with the conservative, run it into the pile, ****?

how about the truth
we have three backs averaging 7 plus a carry
and Kaaya has had more then enough time as a true frosh
give up to the OL and Kehoe
they have done a ***king great job
