Virginia Tech Away Games

One reason I think miami has a huge advantage is because of hard rock

****** tech has a redshirt freshman qb who is inconsistent and hasn't looked great in away games

Virginia tech has played in only 2 away games this year (BC, ECU)

He played against west virginia at a neutral site but the crowd was almost all hokie fans

in the game against ECU their was a pretty full crowd (probably like 30k)but they sucked so it didn't make an impact

In BC the crowd was small and he struggled early there

He hasn't played a single team with a full crowd in a night game

Our stadium will be loud af and I bet he will struggle mightily from lack of away game experience


ALL CANES FANS SHOW UP TO THE GAME AND BE SUPER ROWDY

be like the fsu game last year throw bottles on the field and get in fights if thats what it takes lol

Just get loud so we can win on saturday!

We win Saturday. Our guys feel VERY disrespected. Sell out crowd, blackout, crowd noise, & a pack a ******* wolves starring Jackson down. A few big chunk plays on O & this one is ours. I expect Richards, Berrios, Herndon, & Rosier to elevate their game. It’s our time & also we get to embrace the underdog role all week. Lets EAT!

In the past decade, we have come up short in games that we could seize control of the division. If nothing else, this year we have been winning games that we would normally lose. I say, that continues on Saturday.

Richt mentioned earlier today, that the team talks about winning the coastal every week. It is embedded in their heads. I really believe that the team knows that this is their year to win the coastal and like every other game this season, they'll will their way to victory.

The fire has already been ignited. Dropping in the polls and constantly being disrespected by the media (and some so called fans) is only adding fuel.

I’m a realist and probably a pessimist. But I think we win this game.

I hope manny has the defense ready. Fuentes carved us up last year with a first year qb.
 
Both the Hokies and ND have not proven anything on the road.
We will be by far their best road test and I think they will both fail.

I’m bringing one of those old school mini portable TVs that hold 8 AA batteries. I am going to pelt VT players, fans and staff with batteries all game. You know, really show my support of the Canes
 
Just to mention ... inexperienced QBs have had a field day against us lately.

Having said that, it is our offense handling their D that concerns me the most. Our slow developing handoffs will get our RB/QB killed.

Foster has always given us trouble ... was hoping he would leave after Beamer left.

Yeah I honestly think this game is like 23-3 at half for us. Believe we win 37 to 17 or something . ND is the game that worries me as Adams is a bad bad man. VT is a not a very good team but they especially aren't on the road over the last few seasons.
 
Something about night games at Miami....the crowds shown up and are generally more rowdy. Hoping Our players feed off that energy.

Also hoping we have former players stop by this week to encourage the guys

Agree....if we have a hiccup it would be vs ND. That game doesn't affect ACC standings but make no mistake I hate ND and we need to beat them
