Why would he leave an OC job in-conference to come and be a Co-OC here?

we have enough money to use Clemson model and hire both Lashlee and Anae

This train wreck keeps getting worse. I don't get why you would want someone from your own conference. Get someone new who hasn't already been defended by your competition.
 
I’ve been trying to stay positive throughout this process and support Manny, but if he hires this loser I’m gonna lose my mind

Lashlee has multiple offers as an OC. He's not taking a Co-OC gig.

Also, UVA's OL sucked. We abused them and that was one of their fan's biggest complaints about this year.

Im just saying I would take him as a co-OC not that’s what’s happening. If he’s getting the job then Manny has plans on bringing in a QB coach with him... likely Ponce

But he’s making $550k. If he made $650k and another Co-OC made $500-600k it could work. He would probably have the playcalling duties. Or he could be OC in title and we hire a QB coach/passing game coordinator

He doesn’t coach OL right now. He has a history of coaching OL. Including under Mike Leach for the first 5 years of his tenure at Texas Tech.
 
Anae is a good coach and I referenced him when we were looking last year for an OC mainly for his OL coaching background.

But 0 chance I would take him as the sole OC. Only under the Clemson model where he’s running game coordinator and there’s a respected QB coach/passing game coordinator.
